I Like it but not quite as much as I'd hoped

I like this vacuum. It does a great job on carpet and I love the relatively light weight and the way it handles. It gets around obstacles nicely. It also gets under furniture better than most vacuums. The only downside for me is that it does not pick up small stuff like bird seed off of hard floors very well at all on the bare floor setting. Even my cheap Dirt Devil does that better. I find it works better on hard floors using the "turbo" or short carpet setting. I'd recommend it if your primary concern is carpeted floors.

It would be so much more usefull if it did not auto-shutoff when docked
Is it possible to disable auto-shutoff while the unit is on the dock charging? Or disable it unconditionally?
A few of the things I cannot do:
1. wake up to music
2. place the speaker in a hard to reach place
3. pause music and then resume some time later
5. hear music as soon as I enter my apartment

as to your point #3 I can pause by pressing the round button. Then when I push it again later it will pick up where I left off as long as I have not done anything else in my music on my Iphone 5s

will they install it with a power cord??? Says not included.
Yes they will but they require you to buy one with the washer/dryer to guarantee that the installer will have the proper and up to code appliance cords with them to install them with.
