The dual-channel Asus AC3100 Dual-Band Wi-Fi Router does a very good job in my fairly large (about 2500 sq ft)home. It was easy to set up and produces a strong WIFI signal throughout my home. It selects the strongest 2.4GHZ channel, and sometimes chooses a 5 GHZ channel, but so far the 2.4 signal works best. With a lot of neighbor WIFI activity, my WIFI is about 20 Mb/s, good enough for most activities, and I do not do on-line gaming.

Disappointing WIFI Capability

The Linksys Max-Stream™ AC2200 Tri-Band Wi-Fi Router has a lot of good features, but the WIFI capability, for which I mainly purchased this router, has proven to be disappointing. My ISP provides about 60 Mbits/sec into the router (per multiple tests with Speedtest, etc.) but the WIFI output speed is about 15 to 20 (max), no matter how close the computer is to the Router. I contacted Linksys support and made all their suggested adjustments, to no avail -- WIFI speed stays at the lowest rate, on any 2.4 GHz band.

The Garmin - Drive 51 LMT-S 5" GPS is very good for navigation on the road. The lifetime maps are a plus, and the "lifetime" traffic updates are good if you have a compatible device to receive the traffic conditions, but it is not a stand-alone device because of the need for a iphone or other device to capture the traffic information and then connect with bluetooth to the GPS.

APPROXIMATELY HOW MANY PICTURES WILL A SAN DISK 8GB 3.0 FLASH DRIVE HOLD? NORMAL SIZE PICTURES TAKEN WITH 35MM SINGLE USE CAMERA 400 SPEED?
This is totally dependent on how many megapixels your camera is using per picture, and how much compression the camera performs. Modern small cameras use anywhere from 5 to 12 (or more) million pixels, or even higher for each picture. Divide this number into 8 Gigabytes (8,000,000,000) and you will get some idea of how many pictures can be stored. For example, using a 8 megapixel camera, the 8 GB drive should hold at least 1,000 pictures, and probably many more depending on the compression factor.

How do I delete a file that it says can't be deleted
I have a file of pictures on it that I want to delete so I can replace it with a new file. I'm using this on an automatic picture frame that displays the pictures in the file when the stick is inserted in to the frames USB port
Load the USB stick onto your computer, which should automatically display the contents using, e.g., Windows File Explorer. If the files that are displayed are in a folder, double-click the folder to open it to show you the contents. Then right-click on whatever you want to delete, such as utility programs, etc., and select delete. Then close out (e.g., x-out) the folder and (for safety of usb stick contents) select the "safely remove device" option on your computer. If you can't find the safely remove button, just remove the usb stick, and all should be ok.
