While there is a higher yield toner cartridge, this one is a great yield if you can find it on sale, under $35. I have had no issues with this cartridge. There really is not much to say. No leaking or smearing or other issues. Watch the price though and make sure it's not above $35. If it is above $35, you can find a better price elsewhere.

I did some research into the cost of an inkjet vs a laserjet printer. While the initial costs of an inkjet are lower, the overall cost per page is significantly higher, being close to $0.25 per page depending upon yield and price. However, with a black and white laserjet printer, the cost is $0.01 per page up to $0.04 per page depending upon the cost of the toner. So it is significantly cheaper in the long run to get a laserjet IF you are not going to print color.
That being said the resolution and print quality of this printer is excellent. The overall quality of the software is better than average. This printer actually exceeds my expectations.

The filter is inside the top above the bagless canister. You will have to pull it out, like you do when you empty the canister. You will see where it says Reusable filter and a tab underneath this. Push up on the tab and it should open easily. The filter is the blue round thing. Pull it out and wash it. Let it dry for 24 hours.

Yes. I have this product on my computer and I have 3 monitors. You will have to have either an adapter or a cord for each monitor specific to the connector on the back. It has an HDMI mini (HDMI adapter included), and 2 DVI connectors.
