May Be a Good Product--Who Knows?

I bought the Roku after reading a review that said that even the person's grandmother wouldn't have any trouble since it was incredibly easy--just the plug the stick in. Not so. I'm grandmother-age but I use computers daily and am not entirely clueless. First try resulted in an error message about a problem between the router and the stick. I had bought the router from Best Buy w/Geek Squad support. They didn't recognize the error message, and were incredibly unhelpful. An hour later they hung up on me without resolution. I tried again to get the stick going myself the next day after unplugging and reattaching everything etc. That day I couldn't get past an initial screen wanting to know what language I wanted to be using, with no way I could figure out how to enter a response using the remote control, extremely minimal instructions that came with the device, nothing I could find online. After another couple of hours I just said forget it and returned the item.
