This is such a pleasant upgrade from my previous radar detector. It does pick up about a mile away on most bands but it does not go off every time you pull up behind a vehicle with blind spot assist such as a Tahoe an Audi or the Kia. My last radar detector was constantly going off because of those vehicles and their blind spot alert system

Connected my Samsung TV, Apple TV and Samsung Blu Ray to Rocketfish RF-G1185 HDMI switcher but TV fades in and out every few seconds (2 seconds on then goes black for 10 seconds then comes back), switcher will not stop on the Apple TV port (2).Blu Ray ok
Have you tried switching the Blu-ray with the Apple TV ports. If you do so and the Apple Works in the Blu-ray doesn't then the port is bad on the switch. Try connecting to Apple TV directly to the television and see if it works. If it works directly to the television and not through the port you need to reconfigure your Apple TV

About the range top - do the burners do well with medium and simmer-level temperatures? Our current range (not Samsung) seems to only have two temperatures: lo and hi. Really miss the middle range of temperatures!

My daughter has a 1999 Toyota Avalon. I'd like to buy her this receiver for Christmas so she can use the aux jack. Will the Geek Squad be able to install this into the car's existing speaker system or will I have to buy additional products such as aftermarket speakers as well?

well a back up camera won't do anything for your sound system but will definitely save the bumper and maybe another vehicle. and it's going with a backup camera would definitely go with a touch screen head unit that has video capability. upgrading the speakers and utilizing an amplifier will definitely give you much better sound..
