Straightforward for the non-audiophile

I needed a plug and play 7.1 surround headset on the cheap and this is working out great! Essentially no customization but out of the box the sound is great and has served its purpose mainly as a gaming headset on PC.
Not recommended for audio or watching non-surround videos as the tuning seems geared more towards a full surround environment, albeit simulated.

Frankly the sub is...subpar though that shouldn't be surprising for the price.
If you can spare a little extra get a better Logitech speaker setup but if you just want some basic stereo sound and aren't worried about the lower register these are cheap and not bad looking.
It is worth nothing that the wires are rather short. On a 4 ft desk I am stretching the packaged cables without an extension which is frankly a little surprising but it canm be worked around cheaply.
