I have used machines similar to this when I visited Japan last year. I have not had a problem at all with mine, and I have been using it a month. To get the best clean, adjustments on how you do laundry have to be made. The only thing I dislike is that it does not have a lint trap like the Panasonic I used in Japan. It would be really helpful.
Sorting by clothing type is a must.
Only filling the tub halfway, because it will not dry properly if you overfill it.
A pedestal lifting the unit to a higher height if you have a wall drain will shorten drying time.

I tend to avoid using the cotton setting, as the clothes always seem to come out more wrinkled than when I use permanent press.
Overall this machine is a great space saver, and I really like it.
