If you're on the fence just go to your local Best Buy or Apple Store, get a demo station, launch the already installed Notes app and begin writing with the Apple Pencil.
If you're able to download, get a drawing program and tilt the pencil 45-degrees sideways to shade or even Affinity Photo which allows you to adjust the pencil as a light source.
Small expense for tremendous value.

Get your work done with this Logitech CREATE 920-007824 case, which features a backlit keyboard that connects via Smart Connector, so it never needs Bluetooth pairing or charging. Two viewing angles let you comfortably type, watch movies or play games.

Many nice features, but unfortunately it's ergonomically limited and just doesn't have the key response of a traditional keyboard.

The LucidSound LS-20s are absolutely fabulous headphones, not just for the money, but period.
Being an audio guy I value sound quality first and foremost, and read literally hundreds of reviews of gaming headsets, audiophile headsets, etc, and demo'd dozens with my own ears.
I settled on the Sennheiser HD-598 for audiophile music, and these LucidSound LS-20s for gaming and PSVR (initially, more on that later).
Well the LS-20s perform so well (no knock against the 598's whatsoever) that I use them 5x as often, for just about all my listening needs; PS4 gaming, iPhone/iPad compressed music, FLAC uncompressed music, and most importantly to me, playing guitar, plugged into the amp or iPad BiasFX amp/fx sim.
The frequency response is much smoother, kinder and more forgiving than my studio monitors. The Sennheiser are relegated to mixing and mastering, and the LS-20s for everything else.
Pros :
+ Sound quality
+ detailed tight frequency response
+ full rich bass, forward mids and clean highs
+ articulated sounds of in-game directional audio, footsteps in Tomb Raider, creeky flooring in RE7 VR, and the sound of grass blowing or metal clanking in Horizon Zero Dawn must be experienced
+ comfort, I wear them hours on end, gaming and guitar-ing
+ function, rotational volume / audio mute on left ear cup, mic mute right
+ built-in mic and high quality boom mic (with thoughtful tiny rubber plugs when not installed, plus Apple-like LS stickers)
+ oh yeah, they're powered with bass-boost and EQ
+ 20-hour battery life, in a month I've had to charge 2x
+ fits over the PSVR headset like it was designed for it
* durable, extremely flexible and stylish design, turns heads
+ numerous small details, this company cares about it's products

Don't bother finding the $10 wired controller and $10 extension cable like I did. Just get the wireless one. it takes less than 3 minutes to setup. Open the box, put batteries in the controller, put the dongle into the NES console, and hit the start button. 1-2-3.
Response time is the same as wired pack-in Nintendo brand wired controller, and far better than the Insignia that I tried first.
Bonus: press both Start and Reset buttons in the middle of the controller to access the NES Console game selection screen. Much more efficient than heaven forbid, standing up and walking to the unit to press the Reset on the console (poor design on Nintendo's part, but this solves it so it's a moot point).

Only at Best BuyPlay games on the NES Classic console with this Insignia wired controller. It mimics the traditional controller's looks, and its buttons are in an identical configuration so game play is the same. This Insignia wired controller has a 10-foot cord to provide plenty of room between it and the console.

Hi Mike, the Polk S1 Sigma accepts an optical audio signal from your television. It does not have an HDMI input like competing products but Polk makes up for it in audio quality where it excels based on the comparisons with my ears.
It does have Bluetooth audio (great for your iPhone) but I’d not recommend it for television bc of the inherent delay which might cause audio / video sync issues.
