I plugged it in and it just started working!
I was upgrading from 10/100 to this Gigabit connection, so I obviously got a huge increase in speed. I picked this one over other models because it was a study metal enclosure with mounting holes. I needed to replace my old unit mounted on the wall, and was surprised while shopping that this isn't included on every switch. It actually took some searching to find one with that simple feature.

I bought this camera because I do alot of concert photos and cannot take anything with a detachable lens or my hdr-pj10 because it's an obvious camcorder. But beware, depending on the artist they still may not allow a lens that extends. The 30x optical zoom is great, I turned off the digital zoom and forgot about it cause I didn't really need it. The camera also has a few neat features I haven't had time to play with other than the blue/red/yellow only, where you can pick a color and the rest is in black and white. Didn't buy it for the ability to send files over wifi, GPS tagging, and controlling it with my iPhone...but those features sure come in handy and will be looking for them in my next camera also. Really the only problem I've had is every now and then, slow focus when zoomed in low light more so in videos, but once its focused it gets great pics still.

What's not so great: Focus sometimes takes a while in low light, or must zoom out and back in to focus.

I think this is a great system and glad I bought it. I knew it was "all-in-one" but I thought that simply meant not having to switch TV inputs. I didn't realize this means the system will actually control your TV, cable/satellite box, and the home theater receiver. Kinect works a lot better than expected even when volume is turned up loud. I would definitely recommend rechargeable batteries as I went through the included controller batteries in just a few days. At launch, there is no way to manually manage save files (I believe an intended anti-piracy/modding measure), so it's weird you can't tell how much space you have left on your hard drive versus how much is actually stored in the online cloud. But this means you can sign on to other consoles without having to bring your memory stick which is a plus.

What's not so great: It wasn't free, no previous Xbox 360 accessories work. Short controller battery life.

How far can you go without your phone being near you and still make calls or answer calls? and will you be able to add the fitbit app????
On it's own, about the same as most bluetooth...about 30 feet. However if you are on wifi, it learns the same wifi connections as the phone and can function on it's own. When you say hello to Apple Watch, you say goodbye to Fitbit. The apple watch will not natively share data with the Fitbit app, and even if you buy a third party app that will import the steps, Fitbit still will not count these steps towards achievements from any non-fitbit device.
