Recently purchased an EOS M3 and always like to have a spare battery. In the past I have bought aftermarket batteries that were cheaper, but in the long run they ended up not holding charges very long and I had to toss them - so now I only buy official batteries from the camera maker and never have problems with how much charge they hold or for how long. Yup, these are not cheap but if you need to rely on your camera working you should buy OEM batteries you can trust. Not worth trying to cut corners in camera battery cost.

Great small body that uses my old lenses

I was looking at a new DSLR to replace an old Canon XTI .. I had bought a few good lenses for that camera back in the day and didnt want to give them up - so when I saw the M3 supported them with this adapter I was pretty happy to give it a try. Went to store and the camera felt nice with its EF-M lenses and with EF-S lenses too. I bought this kit and also the prime 22mm lens which is really great and compact (would be better if it had IS), the included 18-55 is very practical and with IS suits a lot of situations. If you are a canon fan and looking for a compact mirrorless body to use some ef-s lenses, this is a great option!

these were a gift i bought for a niece, good headphones for entry level listeners, pretty good value for the money. i went in looking for headphones with a volume limiting function which parents want for little kids, these do not have that feature. actually, no headphones at best buy had that feature which was pretty surprising. overall these are good looking (if you like that weird pink tan color) and good sounding low priced headphones.

these were a gift for my niece, but before i bought them i tried them in the store and compared them to a few pairs from bigger better known name brands that were more or less expensive and i feel these were decent reasonably priced headphones for a teenager. the bass control slider was neat and worked pretty well but felt like it could be a weak part that could break. headphones i use at home are high end grado, these dont compare but these look cool for the kids.

Great streaming media player

We 'cut the cord' a while back and already own a ROKU3 on our other tv setup, so this was an easy addition to our other TV that had an older streaming device that didn't support all the newer services we had been using.
One thing that changed between the older and newer ROKU3 was the addition on 4 service specific buttons on the new remote, which is nice but also makes it a different remote so i have to remember which button does what and there is no way to deactivate the buttons.
Setup was quick and easy, we use this wirelessly (the other one is wired) and have not experienced any connectivity issues with netflix, amazon prime, hulu plus or my plex server.
I looked at other streaming media players and this one supported everything we needed right out of the box, so it was an easy decision.

necessary if you want to use CD/DVD on iMac

If you just got a new iMac and realize you have a large collection of CDs or DVDs you need to access on your computer, this is what you need. You could buy a similar drive from another manufacturer - Best Buy had a few other options, but none match the iMac style like this one does.
One drawback is that this drive cannot be used on a USB hub - since it does not have a power cord, it relies on the iMac knowing it is a cd drive and sending it more power. Another thing to consider is that this does not support bluray discs, so if that also is important look elsewhere (apple doesnt really seem to like bluray)

the 27" iMac is beautiful and the large screen makes working on multiple things easy. Being an all in one makes setup very straightforward. One thing missing out of the box is a CD/DVD player so if you have a lot of that old media you will need to buy an external drive.

can roku I buy here and used in China for my relatives?
Does chinese higher voltage a problem?
It does not look like any of the ROKU devices officialy support anything over 110v, so you may need to get a new power supply or a step down transformer for it. On some user forums I did see some people say they had tried it on 220 and it worked.
Also, to connect to streaming services outside of china you would likely need to set up a VPN on your router since most subscription services require you to be in the USA.
