The USB 2.0 VGA Display Adapter acts as an external graphics card for your Mac or PC. It allows you to add an additional VGA display through your USB 2.0 port. I cannot say enough good things about the Best Buy (Geek Squad) Service folks who installed my TV, sound bar and Harmony remote. As great as the physical installation went, probably the best part was their work programming my remote. I am confident this is something I could have figured out myself, but they did a great job getting it set-up perfectly for me quickly and doing so the first time. We had a brief discussion about what I had purchased and why and they took that information into account when programming my remote. Definitely worth the money.

Good remote if you need to go through a wall

I have been pretty happy with this unit. I purchased it because my cable box is behind the wall my TV and sound bar hang on. I did this in order to make the look around my TV and sound bar super clean. The remote works pretty well. Getting everything started usually takes a couple of more button pushes than it should ideally (just one), but that is fine. Once everything is on, it works well and is responsive and accurate even though the signal is traveling through a wall. I do not have many devices hooked to it currently (only 3) but I would imagine this would be an awesome device if I had a bunch more, as all three are almost as easy to use as with their dedicated remotes. My only real complaint is with the battery life of the unit. You will probably need to charge it at least once a week, if not more and my Best Buy techs warned me against leaving it in its charging cradle regularly. That makes it a bit of a pain, as we are so used to remotes working for moths or longer on a few batteries.

Nice clean solution when you have a power problem

I recently purchased one of these setups and had the Best Buy folks install it. It works wonderfully and left us with a very clean result. Our situation was especially challenging, in that we did not have power available anywhere on the wall where we wanted our new TV hung. Not only did this get us power, but we were able to draw it from the room on the backside of our wall, leaving us with a super-clean look around our TV and sound bar. Not a single wire is visible anywhere. This is a great solution for a really professionally finished look.

Good soundbar for the money

I am no audiophile, so I do not claim to have a great ear or know a ton about these products. What I can say is this system has proven nice for my family and our needs. As one would expect, it is a dramatic improvement over our television's standard speakers. What I like most about this unit is the ability to raise the volume by individual channel. This allows us to up the volume on dialogue without raising all the background noise as well. It has helped for movies or shows where simply raising the volume only let's my neighbors know what I am watching but doesn't help me here the dialogue any more clearly. I did previously have a 5.1 based system and it sounded better at times, but for the money I think this is a nice little system.
