Great for Music! Not as good for calls.

If you're a rock star or you wish you were a rock star you should probably just buy The Minor II now! Not only are they Marshall branded but they play good sounding guitar riffs every time you turn them off and on. It's pretty cool at first and I haven't found it to be annoying yet.
The sound quality of the Minor II is excellent! Whether watching a movie with action happening all around you or listening to crisp stringed instruments or heavy drumming and electric guitars all sounds come through full and clear. I was impressed with highs and lows. Not only could I hear low drumming very well but there was one song that had sounds in it I never heard before because, apparently, I hadn't listened to it with good enough sound equipment before. Those were high sounds and they were subtle but came through crisp and clearly. Vocals were always clear as well.
I love the fit. I put them in and they twist into place nicely. The adjustment system is brilliant, using the cord that's there anyway instead engineering something else to move or break. I mean, everyone has different ears so these may not fit you no matter how you adjust them but they fit me very well with little adjustment. The fit is snug - there's no extra room in there, but it's comfortable even for wearing hours at a time. Of the 4 or so ear buds I've had over the years I like the fit of these best. I also actually like having them together on a cord. It's convenient to stick them together and wear it like a necklace instead of putting two separate buds in your pocket or something. I also like the way it pauses media. It worked for me with music and Netflix. And of course, you'll never loose one!
The battery life is great. It's rated for 12 hours. I didn't test that in one shot but I got a lot of use over the course of 3 days before charging them again so to me that's very good. That's listening to media and at least a few hours on the phone. There were other times I used it a lot more than a few hours at a time and it just kept going. I also love the way you can see the battery life you have left on your smartphone - I guess because it's Bluetooth 5 and you probably need a newer smartphone. I was using them mostly with Android 9 but also on a Windows 10 PC.
I was skeptical of the controls. In actual use I liked the knob and it worked well. The only issue I had was it didn't always turn on when I held down the button. Then I would try again and it would work. I think I was probably pressing at an angle instead of straight in when that happened but I'm not sure. It didn't bother me. There have to be some compromises to controls on all small devices and I like what they came up with for this.
The only real disappointment I found was that they don't have noise cancellation. They don't advertise it but I figured all ear buds in this price range have that. It turns out I was wrong. That's why I gave it four stars. Don't get me wrong, the mic is great - but almost too good for not having noise cancellation. I was on a phone conference and everyone stopped talking at one point to hear a conversation going on in the room I was in which I wasn't even aware of. If you plan to only use these for phone calls, you may want to look for something else. On the other hand, if it's just you and there isn't background noise the person on the other end will hear you loud and clear and you'll hear them like they're next to you.
If you're looking for earbuds to listen to music or other media and do some occasional calling, these are perfect!

Great Outdoor Camcorder
on July 30, 2019
Posted by: hotice
from Bridgeport, PA
In a world of smartphones that have great cameras built-in, why would anyone buy a camcorder?! Here are a few reasons:
1. 40X optical zoom
2. It's waterproof up to 16.4 feet under water
3. It's Shockproof up to 4.9 feet
4. It's quick and easy to use
5. The top four attributes make it great for outdoor use and comfortable enough to let my 8 and 9 year old daughters use it!
What do I like about the VIXIA HF W10?
- It's small and light weight, comfortable to hold in the hand
- 8GB of built-in flash storage is enough to get some nice video and stills
- The 64GB MicroSDXC I had, when put in a full size SD card adapter, worked very well with it.
- It takes great video under water! We haven't tried much but we got some great video of the bottom of a creek today, very bright and clear
- Battery life! I haven't used it enough to give you numbers but it seems to use the battery slowly. My daughters were playing with it and taking 20-30 minutes of video today and it's still at 80%. For the quality it gets I think that seems very good.
- The black plastic looks good, doesn't feel cheap, isn't a finger print magnet, and it does't look "ruggedized", no extra thick rubber cover or anything
Recording video at the default quality setting (Canon calls it "XP" 7:44 left on my partly used 64GB card), which I thought was takes very good quality video, uses about 1GB for 8 minutes. There is one higher quality setting (UXP 5:29 left at the same point in time) and a lower quality setting (EP a crazy 27:26 left on the same 64GB card at the same point in time) that greatly reduces files size. All of those settings are at 1920x1080 60fps interlaced. There is a 60fps progressive mode but recording at that only has one quality option and on the same card at, again, the same point in time it dropped the recording to 4:52. There are no resolution options for the video, it's all 1920x1080. The video was good inside and out. Better lighting gave better color accuracy in the video but it often did well with video inside when I wasn't sure it would. It adjusts pretty quickly when you move it from brighter to dimmer lighting or vice versa. If there is a bright light behind something that will throw it off but most cameras have a really hard time with that. I was very pleased with the video quality, especially outside. Though I had less testing of sound so far it seems to pick up audio very well.
This does take photos. You need to have good lighting and if there are different light sources, like sunlight coming in through the window and other lights inside the white balance may not be right and the colors could be off. With lower light the photos they tend to be grainy too. I haven't noticed the same graininess in the video. Outdoor they can be pretty good though. I didn't really dock the camera for photo quality because everyone has a cell phone that they use for photos most of the time. Still this can take good photos and that optical zoom could come in handy when you're trying to get a picture of wildlife at a distance and no cell phone will work. I've uploaded two outdoor pictures I took with it. You can see what you think. There are four resolution options, up to 3680x2760 (10MP if you care). The default of 1920x1080 (2MP) seems good in general. Again, the key to good photos on this will be the lighting and in general, it's just better outside.
There are a lot of settings but you don't need to mess with them most of the time. There is a timer for both photos and video. I set it to 2 seconds all the time for photos so there is less chance of blur. There are other options too like time lapse, wind noise reduction, image stabilization options, and more. If you are going to use an SD card with it, as I expect most will, it's simple but you need to set it to save photos and videos on it. By default it will continue to save to the built in 8GB flash storage. The settings for photos and videos are independent so you can have photos go to the built-in storage and videos go to the SD card if you want.
The physical controls are simple and work well. To turn the camera on, open the screen. To turn it off, you close the screen. There's a rocker switch on top that's used for zoom, volume up/down when viewing video, and next/previous when reviewing photos. There's one button on the back that's used to start/stop recording and to take photos. You can also use an on-screen button to take photos. The touch screen is pressure sensitive. While you need to press harder than on your phone it's easy to get used to and works well.
It has three ports: mini-HDMI, microUSB for data and power, and a port for analog video out. I used the mini-HDMI to connect it to our TV and that worked well. For the TV output to work you need to turn it on in the camera settings first and then connect it to the TV. There is also the SD Card slot obviously.
The VIXIA HF W10 is a good video camera for the price and is especially well suited for a camping trip, hike, and countless other outdoor activities!

Great Bang for the Buck!

I'm totally thrilled with the Acer Chromebook R 11 2-in-1. Make sure you get the newer model with the quad-core Celeron N3160 and 4GB of RAM - you should get 32GB of storage too.
Here's what I like:
1. It's fast! Load a large page like cnn.com with lots of graphics and it will take a little time for everything to finish but even that is acceptable, the top loads fast, and everything else is fast in general.
2. It seems to run many Android apps very well! We've been playing some board games on it, like Tsuro and Ticket to Ride. It's great having a larger screen and the games play perfectly! Looking forward to playing Settlers of Catan on it!
3. Netflix works great on it! Video starts quickly and looks great, sure it's only 1366x768 but at 11.6" it really doesn't matter. The video looks excellent.
4. Battery life is great! Yeah, it will depend what you're doing but the first night I got it I was installing Android apps, trying web sites and watched a 45 minute show on Netflix and it was still at 75% after that.
5. I love having a 2-in-1!!! It's really needed with a touch screen and it's hand for games, some apps, and viewing photos and video.
6. Audio has good volume and sounds fine!
7. The whole family loves it!
8. The price...You get so much for the money!!! It's the best device I've seen for $300 by far!
What I don't like:
1. Sure, Android compatibility isn't perfect yet. I can't think of what didn't work but I think I had one app that would not install. I've done a number of games and productivity apps with great results.

Best Mobile Mouse I've Seen!

I highly recommend the Logitech MX Anywhere 2. Yes, it's expensive but here is what you get:
1. USB or Bluetooth connectivity
2. Rechargeable and you can use it while it's charging with a standard MicroUSB cable - great compared to others because if one with replaceable batteries dies and you have no batteries you can't use the mouse at all.
3. DarkField tracking is excellent
4. Good weight, not too light, not heavy
5. High resolution
6. Switch between three computers easily
7. Click or friction-less scrolling
8. They improved the switches from the first model so the buttons should last longer and be more reliable. I think the click feels better too but it's been a while since I used the first MX Anywhere.
Negatives:
1. Some marketing material mentions that you can set the DPI. There doesn't seem to be any way to do that even if you install the software it comes with. Thankfully, it's high enough resolution that I can use it at 2560x1440 without desktop scaling and it works fine, I don't need to lift my hand to get across that and two other 1080p displays, all three at one time.
2. There is no internal storage for the USB transceiver
3. Using USB takes one of the three connection "slots". Initially I thought those were for Bluetooth and it could connect via USB in addition to that. It's three total. You can do all Bluetooth, or have one USB and two bluetooth, however you want. Once setup, it's just one touch on the bottom to switch between computers and it does work very well.
4. No nice travel bag like the first version of this had

Fast, Great Battery Life, Great Camera

I've never been a fan of glass on phones. Why would you want glass on something that you will drop? I knew with my next upgrade I wanted a non-glass screen. Other things I wanted were:
Snapdragon 820, 3 or 4 GB of RAM, at least 32GB of Storage, MicroSDXC slot with Android Adaptive Storage support.
The Moto Z Force Droid meets and/or exceeds all my requirements. This is by far the best phone I've ever had!
The battery life is excellent! I haven't had to charge it more than once in a day and I can almost go two days with lots of use.
This phone doesn't just last long, but it does so in style with incredible speed and smoothness. I thought it was just me but I did some digging and found a review, I think it was on Anandtech, that explained some reasons why it may be faster than other Snapdragon 820 phones. One was that the graphics drivers are newer than on other phones and that helped the graphics performance signifcantly. Another reason is that it has faster storage than pretty much anything else. In fact the storage in the Moto Z Forcce Droid is faster than in other phones with the same physical storage chips in it. Moto must have done something special with the storage subsystem. Anyway, whatever the reason is this phone is fast and I've extremely happy with the performance of it.
The camera in this phone is excellent! I've read that it was very good but I was surprised how good it was when I took a picture of my daughters at mini-golf in the evening. The picture came out very well and very bright in spite of what I thought may not be great lighting. The camera also starts very fast.
I also love the use of the low power contextual awareness processor in this phone. I can wave my hand over it to see if there are notifications - I also like the way I can touch one to see details. I also really like the way I can twist the phone twice to start the camera. It starts the camera very fast and you can take a picture almost instantly. The low power natural language processor also works great! I don't use it often but I've been using it here and there. It's handy to not even touch the phone can call out a search request or ask it a quick question that it can answer. I haven't noticed a drop in battery life since enabling and/or using these features.
While I don't have any Moto Mod add-ons I think it's a great option to have and the most elegant way to add an external battery to any phone.
The display is great! I love the 5.5" screen size and the resolution is of course very high so everything looks very sharp and crisp. The screen is bright and I've never had any problems seeing it. I think the colors look accurate too. I'm using it on "vivid" color mode.
I think this is by far the most under-rated phone! I strongly recommend it!

Keep your kids safe online with this Circle Home Plus monitoring setup. The included device uses your router to manage every device on your network, and Circle App makes it simple to limit screen time, filter content, and check browsing histories. This Circle Home Plus monitoring setup is easy to set up and lets you create custom settings for each family member.

Can this handle upload and download speeds of 100mbps or greater for gaming?

I'm not sure how it worked but I was impressed that I didn't notice it effecting any website load times, video conferencing, voice calling, or anything. Everything seemed just as fast as without the home plus. When things were blocked it took a few seconds for the block page to load. Things that are not blocked load like normal.

Do I need a monthly or yearly subscription to use this product?

You do need a subscription for all the features. The basic features, Filter, Usage time, and History of where someone went on the internet don't require a subscription but there are a lot of other features that do, like pause, bedtime, screen off time, time limits per app, etc.

Create fresh blended drinks and sauces with this BELLA eight-piece rocket blender. A compact design conserves kitchen space, while the dishwasher-safe cups and accessories ensure quick cleanup. This BELLA eight-piece rocket blender comes with a storage lid to save mixes for later use and a stainless steel grinding assembly for preparing dry blends.

Does it crush ice into snow cone smoothness?

Yes, I have used it to make "snow" a number of times! It blended ice into snow very well. My daughters loved it:) It does stick to the side, not the fault of the blender I think, but because of that you can only do so much at a time but you get a great snow consistency!

Yes, this will work with any device that takes headphones. It even has a splitter for devices that have separate jacks for mic in and audio out. You will not be able to use the USB dongle with the PS4 but basically you'll miss the Blue Voice features. I've been using this on two other devices besides my PC and it works great! One is a new Android phone and the other is an older Android tablet.

1.) If I am currently grandfathered into Verizon's unlimited data & I purchase the Moto Z Droid Force here w/ the monthly payments for 2 years, will I keep the unlimited data? 2.) Does the $200 off promo work if I pay in full?

You probably will not be able to keep unlimited but just turn on the "Saftey Mode" and you'll never get billed for extra data. When you go over you limit Verizon throttles you to 1Mbps which is actually fine for most things.
