Great battery charger and batteries

I bought this product to have rechargeable AA batteries for my xbox one controllers. I was flying through normal alkaline AA batteries and everyone knows that even alkaline batteries aren't that cheap.
Buying and owning rechargeable batteries is an investment that will pay itself off ever time. The only inconvenience is remembering to charge the batteries.
Comparing this version of the Eneloops to the Eneloops Pro, the main difference is how much charge it holds and how many times it can be recharged before seeing loss in performance; 2000mAh w/ 2100 recharges and 2550mAh w/ 500 recharges respectively.
Doing the math:
Reg. Eneloops..... 2000mAh x 2100 recharge = 4.2 million mAh effectively.
Pro Eneloops..... 2550mAh x 500 recharge = 1.275 million mAh effectively.
The xbox one controller draws 480 mA to operate meaning:
Reg. Eneloop..... 4.2 million mAh / 480mA = 8,750 hours of use.
Pro Eneloops.... 1.275 million mAh / 480mA = 2656.25 hours of use.
Reg. Eneloops..... 2000mAh x 2100 recharge = 4.2 million mAh effectively.
Pro Eneloops..... 2550mAh x 500 recharge = 1.275 million mAh effectively.
The xbox one controller draws 480 mA to operate meaning:
Reg. Eneloop..... 4.2 million mAh / 480mA = 8,750 hours of use.
Pro Eneloops.... 1.275 million mAh / 480mA = 2656.25 hours of use.
The regular Eneloops has a lifetime operation approximately 3.3 times longer than the pro version.
Normal AA alkaline batteries can range anywhere up to around 2600 mAh(sometimes even more) but the mAh is dependent on how much current(mA) is being drawn. Looking at a datasheet for energizer alkaline battery(E91), the effective mAh at a current draw of 480mA is a disappointing 1500 mAh.
Honestly, don't waist your money on the pro version unless you absolutely need those extra 550mAh; the only sacrifice for a gamer would be another hour of use per charge.
All in all though, great batteries and an excellent charger. Your future self will thank your past self for investing in these batteries.

Great for writing messages quickly

I get messages a few times a day/week that I dread responding to because I hate moving the joystick around to each character. Writing a message one letter at a time can be tedious(depending on how long the message is) and can be extremely frustrating; if you accidentally back out before sending a message thus losing the entire message.
Sure I can take out my smartphone and use the smartglass app but I am lazy, to be frank. This chatpad simplified things for me in every aspect of writing message via controller. I like the added weight it adds to the controller, make it feel more secure in my hands. The special customizable buttons are great too, especially if you link them to taking screenshots or recording clips.
The only gripe I have is that when I hit the mute button(mic mute) while my headset is plugged in, then proceed to un-mute, my mic doesn't get turned back on. Leading me to unplug my headset and plug it back in. Not much of a hassle but I am lazy. Maybe I got a defective version but who knows. I have neither the time nor persistence to go on an exchanging spree to get one that won't have the same problem.
All in all, great product for gamers who are tired of using their joystick to pick characters individually and those want a little more customizability.
