The Nvidia Shield is a very fast capable streamer. It was purchased after returning a poorly functioning Roku Premier +. The remote leaves something to be desired with no dedicated play or pause buttons. Can't say anything about the gaming since I do not game. Overall I like it.

Since my old universal remote was dying, I picked this up when it was on sale. Thought it was worth a try. It was very easy to set up with the Logitech software. It works very well and controls things the way I would expect. Only thing I do not like is the activity buttons do not light up.

Worked OK at first

I purchased this because I had a shiny new 4K TV and wanted to be able to stream 4K material. Setup was easy. I was happy with the way it worked. Then Roku updated the firmware and my Netflix became too dark to watch. All other sources were OK. "Technical Support" had no answer for this (try another input, try another HDMI cable, try another TV?), so back it went.

This was supposed to be a replacement for my aging Roamio. It worked OK at first. Then Tivo pushed a firmware update and things went south. I called "technical support" and they blamed everything except the Bolt. After a week of problems with no solution in sight, I returned the Bolt. Went back to the Roamio and it works OK.

This system is really outstanding. Setup was simple--no problems whatsoever. Coverage is excellent. My house is not very large, but coverage in the basement is great (main router is on the main floor)! The only thing I did not like was having only 3 wired connections. I had to add a switch to the system. Overall this is an excellent router.

I think this pair of speakers is an excellent value. The imaging is very good and sound is smooth and crisp without being sibilant. Adjusting the powered woofers is a big plus and fills the lower frequencies without sounding bloated--just be sure to not overdo the level. I am extremely pleased with this purchase!!
I believe these would be great in a surround system also. I did not try this however. These are in my stereo system.

Are magnetically shielded speakers needed if they are close to an LED TV?
Magnetically shielded speakers are necessary only if you are using a CRT based display device.
