Pays to look around the store in different departments before you purchase any and all products. Store clerk was not helpful with finding a less expensive surge protector either. I asked!

is there an adapter y cable that will fit a samsung sound bar?
There are y connectors for a right and left channel RCA connectors to go into the single RCA Audio input on the Samsung Sound Bar. If your samsung sound Bar has Aux RCA output, you could use a RCA splitter Y adapter to go into an old receiver but it would be better to get that sound straight from the TV. There are also no y connectors for Optical Sound inputs because that would combine sounds coming from 2 different sources
