I purchased the Chromecast to test out the new YouTube TV service. In the box you have the device itself, and a power cord. Can't get easier than that. You plug it into the TV, connect the power, and the device displays the next steps on the screen.
Once you download the app from the app store (Apple for me), you are guided through setup, and up and running within minutes.
Overall a great device to take on trips, use in hotel rooms, and more. Everything you display on TV is coming from your iPhone or tablet. This is great for hotels with complicated wifi that other devices (Roku) may have trouble with.
Not every app will work with the Chromecast, so make sure what you want to use is supported before purchasing. Also, some apps may work with Chromecast on an iPad, but not an iPhone.
I give 5 stars for the simplicity of design and ease of setup.

The Logitech Harmony is a great remote, capable of supporting multiple devices, to simplify remote overcrowding.
My TV usage is over a streaming service (Playstation Vue). I purchased this remote to replace my Apple TV one. The product literature states that the remote should work with Apple TV. However, upon experience, the key mappings control all parts of the Apple TV except for fast forward, rewind, which renders this mostly useless. I confirmed this shortcoming with Logitech support.
Also - be aware that this remote will not work with streaming devices such as the Roku that do not use line of sight (RF) to control the device.
If your setup is to control standard devices, such as a blu-ray, cable box, etc. Then this remote is great. However, I give it 3 stars due to the misleading Apple TV compatibility statement, and the lack of ability to control FF/Rew of streaming content.
