Always buy the BB warrenty

No muss no fuss no guilt if there is anything wrong or I simply don't like the purchase. No shipping boxes, no shipping insurance, no waiting to find out if the thing arrived back for service. Just take it back and explain what's wrong. My BB has always honored the warranty agreement.

Astounding zoom lens range. Best image quality if used at ISO 100 and on a tripod. Not an overall great camera for general use. Purpose is everything, you must know why you are buying this camera. I wanted to do moon and sun photography, which is a pretty fair application of it's capabilities. It has 67mm threads for filters, i.e. a solar filter. Much lighter weight and easier handling than a full DSLR with heavy lenses. For serious photographers, you can't expect superior image quality out of such a tiny chip. Know your purpose.

There are pros and cons (for this and all other cameras). Pros: light weight and relatively small, long zoom range, pretty good image stabilization, sharp lens, fair picture quality in bright light. Cons: the imaging chip is contrasty and noisy. The camera is usable for having fun, but if you are serious about image quality you may be disappointed.

This printer works well for documents. You can print photos but it is not a photo printer. The scanner works fine; I make a lot of PDF files from documents. I also have an Epson scanner v600 and it's a much better scanner. Be sure to buy the extra warranty, that can be very handy if you need to return the printer or exchange it if something goes wrong.
