As stated previously, I think the transition from Office 2010 to Office 2016/365 is annoying and difficult. That being said, if you need to move to Windows 10/Office 365, you may have to just bite the bullet and deal with the inconveniences that mobile-friends features impose on those of us who mainly use the desktop. Also, if you are on multiple OSes, like I am - you may want to go with the Home & Business version versus this which only allows you to put it on one device.

I got a great deal on a refurbished one. The form factor is nice, and it is very lightweight. I also like the keyboard. I returned it because: 1) the glare from the screen was too much 2) one of the keys fell off - seriously 3) The fan would not stop running, even when I wasn't doing anything intensive (browsing the web with 1 tab open).

I hate Office 365 / Office 2016. Microsoft has taken away many useful features that using the Office suite as workhorses on desktops. Instead, they've catered to be friendly to mobile and desktop devices. This means you have disappearing scrollbars when windows don't have focus (help, context!!), lack of control over gaudy color schemes, utter lack of control over updates, inability to remove recent documents from Outlook to choose mail attachments, etc. Ugh.

Fragile but necessary wallet drain

I've been through 8 of these among my many mobile Apple devices. These connectors are incredibly fragile, fraying at the Lightning end, pins becoming less sensitive over time (and therefore losing connectivity). I am hamstrung into using my Apple devices, but stuff like this makes me batty. I've tried saving money by using less expensive "OEM-approved" VAR products, but they definitely do not fit cleanly like the OEM equipement. Ugh.
