Soundbar Excellence

As others have mentioned in their reviews, I was holding out for a price cut or sale prior to the holiday season and couldn't wait any longer. Though the $1,299.99 MSRP asking seem steep - the features and design were too tempting to pass up.
I recently moved and I didn't want a lot of wires with my previous Sony 5.1 surround sound system. I gave that away to a friend and wanted to commit to a Sony sound bar knowing it would be in synced with my Sony 52' inch XBR6 and less clutter.
The number of HDMI's was a huge selling point for me. I have the 1 HDMI IN going straight to the tv, 3 HDMI Outs going to my XBOX ONE, XBOX360, & Verizon FIOS.
The sound is phenomenal. Not to mention the wireless subwoofer that will have your heart beating. I'm in a vaulted ceiling apartment complex so I can't have the subwoofer too loud to take advantage of its features. But I have it loud enough to enjoy.
I even had Best Buy Geek Squad come mount my tv over my fireplace and hook everything up from my Sony 7.1 sound bar.
The remote control is vastly different than anything you have seen before. Small, thin, light, and odd looking button design. It's definitely different. But you will get used to it quickly. I only use it to change the HDMI inputs from FIOS to gaming consoles. The FIOS remote for volume control works to change the volume.
I suppose the only flaw I have seen thus far is the Sony sound bar remotes range... Which isn't much at all. You have to aim it directly at the sound bar for it accept your command request. That is primarily why I only use it to change the input and subwoofer volume level only.
All in all, I am happy with this Sony 7.1 sound bar. Asking price is still too high IMO. It's well built as once you touch it and hold it you will know this sound bar means business.
If you can eat the asking price you will be satisfied with your purchasing decision.
I've had this Sony product for 3 weeks now and have no regrets whatsoever!

Ear buds FINALLY done right!

How Often Used:3-5 times a week
I own the white over-the ear Beats By Dre Studio Headphones and enjoy using them on the Metro subway train back and forth to work daily. However, as much as I enjoy them it's the Summer and in my opinion it's too hot to wear them this time of year. Which brings me to my need to purchase a pair of ear buds. I have not been a fan of them, because it always felt like I was missing most of the sounds. I've disliked them for various reasons. #1 being they did not fit in my ear well. They would fall out or hang halfway out of my ear. Not to mention the annoying cords always getting tangled.
Well since I am a Beats owner I decided to view BestBuy & BeatsbyDre's websites and noticed the New Release of the "Beats Tour 2.0" ear buds.
I bought them and was impressed w/ all the accessories to customize the best fit for everyone's ears. The optional rubber/plastic wingtips are fantastic!
I was skeptical at first just because of my history w/ ear buds, but this was a great decision. The tangle-free cable cord is great, as well as the volume, pause, rewind, forward button controls on the cord so you do not need to ever pull out your MP3/Smartphone. The most important thing is the sound and it's is shockingly just as good as the over the ear Studio Beats headphones. As for noise canceling, you won't be able to hear anything and a bonus is no one beside you will either. With the Studio headphones people could hear my music, even though it was not at max volume.
The only downside IMO is the asking price. No way any ear buds should be this expensive. I had a Best Buy gift card which means I did not pay full MSRP and made my decision a little easier.
It also comes with a nice compact carrying case for your ear buds. The retail box it comes in is top notch premium packaging.
I would highly recommend if you can deal with the asking price. Enjoy.

Great for CDS or DVDS
By rlstout from Tuckerton, NJ
We bought two, one for CDS and one for DVDS. We filled both of them to capacity and plan on buying several more. We have a lot of media but not a lot of space. They are narrow and will it in a small space. We plan on having them disbursed throughout the room wherever they will fit.
