I do most of my gaming on my Xbox one. Bought this PS4 to play the exclusives. So I haven't dug into its features much other than playing the games. Setting up the Sony account and using the playstation store is rather cumbersome though. Not the end of the world though.

Excellent Speaker, "Tap" controls aren't great

The speaker gets pretty loud and remains crystal clear. Being able to power it up remotely is pretty convenient. I like everything about it with one exception... There is a feature that allows you to tap the speaker once to pause whatever you're listening to and tap twice to skip to the next track. In theory, it would be very useful. However, "tapping" is not how I would describe it. You have to hit the thing pretty hard in a rather specific manner in order for it to work and because of this, you end up pausing it 90% of the time while trying to skip tracks. Maybe I was doing it wrong but I mostly just tried to forget the feature existed. The speaker is much more enjoyable that way.

i literally dispise when people write reviews for products they bought for their kids. Giving a product five stars and saying, "my kid loves the (insert product here) I bought him/her" does nothing to help people who read reviews in the first place. With that said, the movie works every time I put it in the DVD player and, just like every other movie we have, keeps my three-year-old occupied for about 10 minutes.

I really like the elite controller. The standard controller already felt pretty good in my hands but the elite controller feels fantastic and far more substantial then the lighter, cheaper feeling original. The non-slip grip is nice and you can do almost anything with the added paddles and trigger stops. Although I rarely have all four paddles mapped out or even installed at one time, it's great that I can just throw a paddle on and map it in a matter of seconds to make a certain task in a game a little more convenient. Same goes for the different joysticks, though I have not found a need for the octagonal d-pad. The only gripe I have is the price tag. I suggest you save your money unless you absolutely understand that it's just nice to have. It's not going to change your life or make gaming any better than it already is. Also, because of said price tag, it would have been nice if it came with a rechargeable battery at the very least, and a charging stand at best. The days of having to always have a stock of AA batteries just to game should have been done away with years ago and it definitely shouldn't have to be done when you spend so much on a controller.

I've bought more than a few led televisions and I have always like the LGs the most. This one is more of a "bare bones" model. It's not "smart", there are no apps, and no 3D but paying extra for 3D is just throwing your money away anyway in my opinion. But it is 1080p HD, the picture is amazing, and it's simple to use. It's lightweight too so it was super simple to throw it up on my bedroom wall without needing an extra set of hands.

I originally bought this remote so that I didn't have to pull my controller out of my entertainment center every time my darling two year old daughter wanted to watch Frozen. However, I use it all the time now. Not only does it work well for watching Blu-Rays, but It can also be used to control your master volume level if you set up the volume control on your Xbox. Plus, it's backlit and lights up as soon as you pick it up. I find myself using it for everything on my Xbox other than when I'm actually playing games. It's really sleek as well and just looks like it belongs with your Xbox.
