These are the second brand of truly wireless earbuds which I purchased. The first pair from another brand was awful (see my review of Sol Republic Amps Air). I have to say I am absolutely impressed.
The earbuds are extremely comfortable in my ears. I have completely forgot they were in. The passive noise cancellation is fantastic too. Put the TV on super loud and could barely hear it with the earbuds in and could not hear it at all with them playing music. The producer gives a detailed way of putting the earbuds in your ear as to lock them in which makes them almost impossible to knock out. While these do feel cheap because of them being completely plastic on the outside, this is simply a misnomer as I believe it is how the company produced the Skybuds to have almost not weight while wearing them.
The sound quality is fantastic. The frequency response is dead on and the bass and treble is perfectly balanced. I agree with the others that these are a little on the quiet side, the company has promised to improve this with future firmware upgrades. I also used these with my Apple TV while watching netflix. There was no lag at all between the speaking movements and the words one could hear, so these are great for watching movies as well as listening to music.
I can only believe that these great earbuds could only get better. I could see the skybuds giving apple a run for its money. The only thing that people could see as a negative is the price, but for this quality, it is well worth the premium.
I highly recommend these.

Move to the music without restriction with these SOL REPUBLIC Amps Air earphones. These wireless Bluetooth-enabled earbuds are resistant to rain and sweat so you can enjoy music while training outdoors. The included charging case of these SOL REPUBLIC Amps Air earphones provides up to 15 full charges and is conveniently USB-rechargeable.

I have been on a quest to find the best truly wireless earbuds since apple delayed the Airpods. The Sol Republic Amps Air were my first stop.
The build quality of these was very good. They felt comfortable in my ear and held in very well while working out. Unfortunately that is all I can say that is positive for them.
I purchased and returned two pairs of these due to the same problem, the horrible sound quality. The best that I can describe it is it sounds as though you are listening to an old 45 record player while streaming music from your bluetooth device. The bass sounds solid, but anything in the upper octaves especially high in treble was just awful. It helped when you lowered the volume down past half way but you could still hear the "tin like whine" in the speakers. It almost sounds as though Sol amplified the sound so much that it is producing really bad distortion in the upper registers.
I really wanted to like these because they did fit very comfortably in my ears. But comfort was not enough to listen to how poorly they sounded. And it wasn't just an unlucky bad pair. Both pairs were equally as bad. I ended up purchasing Skybuds which sound 1000 times better. See my review for the charcoal color ones.
For these, stay away.

Yes, I did try with multiple sources. Ipad Pro 12.9", iPhone 7 plus, Apple TV. The Apple TV was the worst with watching movies. The audio was way off of the video. So I would say it was not on my end. Plus when I returned the first pair, the geek squad member tried them with his android phone and he came to the same conclusion as me.
