I don't have much 4k programming coming my way, but I wanted to get at least 1 new cable when I got my new 4k tv. Even hooked up to my bluray though, it does look better. The data transfer amounts on a normal hdmi and this are almost double so anything you hook it to instead of the old hdmi will look better, but 4k stuff looks amazing.

The tv went together smoothly and easily and getting a handle on the controls took very little time. Lots of the apps I wanted were already installed on the tv and it was simple to go and search for the others and download them. The picture is nice and clear and the sound from just the tv is not bad at all, but I will be hooking up my sound system to it for the base subwoofer in particular :D

We got a second portable unit for the kids room, after getting this one out of the box I took an extra hour of setup to change the one from our room into the kids room instead haha. Has two hoses that can pump out the warm air in the room which makes the temperature lower a lot quicker then our other unit. The remote sometimes goes all wonky, but its not even close to make or break.
