The new Apple TV delivers an all-new experience with Touch andSiri, powerful new hardware, and great content, games, and more on the App Store. The Touch surface on the new Siri Remote offers innovative ways to interact with your TV, creating a connected experience with a screen that's across the room. With Siri, finding something to watch is as easy as just asking. And with apps, Apple TV allows you to customize your TV for personal and shared experiences in the living room.
I decided to purchase the Apple TV when Best Buy had a deal that you could get $50 off the 32 GB version with the purchase of a MacBook. I had the original and it had been resetting frequently while I was streaming Hulu or Netflix. The new version is much better. The streaming seems to be clearer and it much less cluttered on the home page for the apps. I really like that you are able to customize the homepage with the apps you choose to download. I would recommend this to anyone. Remember that the apps you download are usually there to just stream video, not download it. The apps do not take up much room and it would only make sense to purchase the 64 GB if you plan on downloading a lot of apps and games onto your Apple TV.
MacBook Air features up to 8GB of memory, a fifth-generation Intel Core processor, Thunderbolt 2, great built-in apps, and all-day battery life.1 Its thin, light, and durable enough to take everywhere you go-and powerful enough to do everything once you get there, better.
I went back and forth a lot between the MacBook Pro and the Air and finally decided on the Air when it went on sale for $1,049 (Latest model with 256 GB Flash Storage/8 GB Memory). I have never been this happy with a laptop. It is extremely fast and the battery life is amazing. The battery is currently at 55% and it is showing that it has 6.5 hours left on the current charge but the time keeps going up. If you are dead set on having the retina display or you need more than two USB ports, go with the Pro. I thought the Retina display would be nice but I have played several videos on my Air since purchasing it and I have been extremely pleased with the display quality which was one of my only concerns. The Air has been really fast (much faster than our 2012 Pro with 500 GB Hard Drive/4 GB Memory) and is extremely light. I would recommend this to anyone looking to purchase a new MacBook.
