SEAGATE DASHBOARD DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY. MY COMPUTER DOES NOT ALWAYS RECOGNIZE THE PRESENCE OF THE EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE. SEAGATE ASSISTANCE IS AT BEST POOR. THEY EVEN TOLD ME THAT THEIR SOFTWARE IS NOT PART OF THIS PRODUCT AND THEREFORE, HAS NO WARRANTY OR GUARANTEE TO FUNCTION. I'VE HAD TO USE MY FILE EXPLORER TO PERMIT THE BACK-UPS TO OCCUR.
