I had gotten a Vizio from a club type retailer but the Internet functions and streaming wouldn't work right out of the box. I promptly returned it and went to Best Buy. The Samsung was slightly more, but the Smart features just worked. The picture is great too. That's all you really need in a TV in this price range.

So let's get this out of the way, it's not the Harmony One. No hard number buttons, the positioning of the FF and RW buttons, we will miss those and the thing just worked. That being said the longer I live with this thing, the more I am getting used to it. Although the play, FF, and RW buttons are in weird spot, the remote is well balanced when you use them, so I'm okay with it, hard numbers would be nice though. One feature I do like is the favorites buttons they make available. You can basically add your cable guide to the touch screen of the remote which is cool. The one downside I have found is this: I have two TV watching settings, one without Surround and one with Surround. For some reason the favorites are only associated with the first instance of TV without surround. If I am watching TV using my A/V receiver and hit one of the favorites, it shuts off my receiver and reverts to just watching using the TV speakers.
The other thing that is annoying is that the Hub will need to be reset almost randomly. So you will be in the middle of viewing, the hub light will turn red and you will reset it. Then the hub thinks your TV is off so you have to go through resyncing your TV toggle with what the remote thinks reality is.
The one thing I will say is that when it works it's pretty good. The other thing is that it is a software product and they seem to be making improvements with each firmware release so it should only get better from here.
