I was looking for a tv that had good side viewing. All my research came up with a tv with an IPS panel over a va panel. So, that left me researching LG and Sony TVs. I went to varies site, such as RTING and Cnet. I also looked at Best buy reviews to get an idea on a TVs. Based on what i needed, i chose to look at the Sony's.
So, I chose to look at the 750d & 850d model. What scared me away from the 850d was the consist review of light bleeding. Also, on some forums there were pictures of the panel with certain issues. So, I went to best buy to look at both models, there is very little difference in picture, color. and brightness.
So i started leaning towards the 750d and i am glad i did. Based on viewing the 850d and the 750d at best buy. I felt there was not much of a drop off in picture quality for the price difference of the two. In all honesty, i thought the 750d looked better than the 850d. The 850d looked little too saturated in color, where the the 750d looked more natural and vivant.
There was some reviews that stated the 750d is not good in the dark settings and that is further from the truth. This tv looks great at any viewing condition.
Pro: picture quality side viewing 4k android tv Watching football looks good
i have not seen any light bleeding but have seen very tiny dark corners, but very hard to notice. Not a deal breaker
Cons: I wish it got a tiny bit brighter, but not a deal breaker.
I believe that this tv is going to be a good seller for sony. Especially the price difference from the 750d to the 850d with really no picture quality loss. This is sony's hidden gem
