Yakuza is a sort of spiritual successor to Sega classic Shenmue, replicating Japan in the 80s to a level of detail you can smell Kabuki-Cho if you've been there. Tinny audio and an awful mic

Bought these as an upgrade from the XO One, hoping this would provide greater volume, more bass, and an overall improvement from that pretty decent, if basic experience. Unfortunately, the sound was definitively worse, the microsphone was distorted and tinny, and thr boost/simulated surround sound module did nothing to increase the sound volume, and the simulated surround was just weird. Less turned out to be more, and I think I'd audition any headsets in the future with these kind of fancy features.

Not really feeling like a guitar hero

They tried to get clever, and totally changed the gameplay by giving you two rows of three buttons. Reading the charts is confusing and unintuitive, and the smaller buttons makes it a royal pain for big handed people to play. It's possible someone who'd never played GH, or children might have an easier time with it, but between the terrible song list and the changes, I stopped playing it in short order.

The Oculus Touch brings your hands into VR, and with it true immersion in games like Robo Recall(free with purchase as of right now), and the sublime Star Trek Bridge Crew. Being able to actually point to things to teach how to play makes life so much easier, and actually using your hands to push the buttons make the fact that you're doing the same stuff you did at 12 years old with couch cushions, but for "real" that's much more amazing. Long battery life a nd great design make long sessions comfortable and you don't feel like there's any buttons missing from your experience. Spend the money up front to get the bundle price, you won't regret it
