This is any excellent all round lens to have. It covers the full range of needs on a vacation trip, sporting event, or party. The lens has a quick response and doesn't have lens creep as some have reported. Maybe this new version has this worked out. I use this with my D5200 as my primary lens.

This camera is an excellent all around camera for the general user and can accommodate more serious users with the assortment of available lenses. Easy to use; however the menus could be better. Also it would have been nice to have the remaining battery time visible like on Sony cameras.
