Trying to establish a MoCA network with my new Tivo Roamio Pro, but it appears I might need a MoCA-enabled Cable Modem, This model came up in my MoCA search on Best Buy, but can't find the spec that says it's MoCA-enabled. Thanks,
You need to split the cable before the modem, then go to another splitter after that and feed all your Tivo's. Get a Holland MoCA filter too. Put it in-between the modem and the Tivos.

Optical audio format
I currently have a Samsung TV. It has optical audio out, but it downmixes the 5.1 surround to stereo. As a result, when listening through a surround sound system, the volume from the foreground goes quiet while the audio in the background gets louder. Then it reverses and the foreground gets louder and the background gets quieter. It keeps oscillating between the two and downmixing like that is an incredibly terrible decision and lowers the overall quality of the TV. Did Samsung finally get with the program and actually allow this to output full 5.1 audio through the optical output or should I get a different brand?
No, Samsung will only output 5.1 from the ATSC tuner, the apps and anything sent in HDMI will only output PCM Stereo over the toslink. It has to do with the Dolby/DTS chip and licensing that would be required for it to output 5.1
