Vibrant colors at 2k and incredible colors and clarity at 4k and its Very easy to setup and use. The 4k quality is awesome for its 40" size, unfortunately there's not much 4k content out there yet! If it has one flaw it's the TV speakers, like most Flat Screen TV's on the market today, the speakers are lacking. The TV interface is nicely done, 4 HDMI ports, 3 3.0 USB ports...Excellent TV for a great price!

can you turn the 4k off and watch the tv in 1080p?
Depends on your cable service, but you can always switch to a lower resolution on your TV settings

I noticed the specs don't list hertz, so is this tv 60 or 120? The info I read says 4ks are only 60 or 120.

what are the dimensions/size of the box the tv comes in?
i have a KIA Soul and not sure it will fit in the back seat
It should fit easily, I have a Rav4 and it fit with no problem in the back
