I only have a 250GB hard drive on my laptop and have been doing a lot of HD video editing of late so was space challenged. I have a 2TB WiFi network drive but it uploads slowly and is not physically small enough to be easily portable. This drive solved both problems, was easy to install, and works great! Highly recommended!

Does this work for 1 computer, or many.
If I were to plug this into my computer, would this only make my computer have better WiFi, or is it like an extender that will also give other things around it WiFi?
Just the one it's plugged into. I bought 2 - one for each laptop.

There are a number of.wav and.mp3 bit rates in both stereo and multitrack. If you need mono just record stereo then use Audacity to convert to mono. Works perfectly. Love it!

Looking for external 1 TB with usb 2.0 ------will your WD - My Passport Ultra 1TB External USB 3.0 Hard Drive - work for me? Using on a Dish DVR for additional backup and storage.Must have own power supply also. dish recommends WD and also Seagate.Thanks.
