Still the standing classic. I've read reviews on the new movie, and I really think it hurt them not making it more of a sequel. Old fans, like myself, took it a little personally that the original wasn't given some kind of nod, because this really is just about a "perfect movie". It was groundbreaking in its time, and stands up very well today.

I think critics don't like superhero movies on principal, and they're a little mad that they still do well. Sure, this isn't a perfect movie, and by all rights should have been broken into two movies to flesh out some of the muddled storyline... All that said, it's still entertaining, still worth watching, and still Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman (highlight of the film, IMO)

Yeah, this was the movie I was looking forward to, more so than XMen Apocalypse or Wolverine 3. Deadpool is a favorite character for many different reasons, and Ryan Reynolds nailed it! He deserves all the kudos he's getting in payment for all the effort he put into trying to get this movie made.

With two high profile shooters coming out around the same time, I was going by single-player campaign. Overwatch was pretty up front about not having it, that the whole game was online multiplayer... That's great if you like multiplayer, but I'm not really a big fan. I just like to shoot stuff at my own pace, because frankly I'm just not that good. So I look at Battleborn, and see that they advertise a single player campaign mode. AWESOME! I'll tell ya, not so awesome... I plugged away at the first mission, spent a pretty good two hours to finally make my way to the Boss. I keep plinking away at him, and have him just under three quarters of the way down when a timer starts counting down! Yup, even though there was nothing said about a mission clock, I timed out. No progress saved. Go right back to the start.
Hey, if you like multiplayer, I'm sure this will be great fun. If you're looking for single player action, where you can stop and save progress because things keep happening in the real world, you might wanna keep looking.

Looks like a great mug, but don't be fooled. Within a week or so, I heard the sound of broken glass or ceramic rattling around inside the mug, between the outer metal and inner layers. Nothing leaks (yet), but I'm not confident in this product. It was never dropped, it was hand washed, and yet here we are... Company has multiple hoops to jump through to even hear from customer service. Don't bother, get a Coleman instead.

The only downside is the super short USB cord. Unless you're going to plug it into something six inches away, you'll need to get a longer cord.

Decent action flick, light on Martial Arts

Sad to say, I was disappointed in this movie. There was a lot of hype building it up to be a great martial arts action flick, with the inclusion of martial arts greats Wu Jing and Scott Adkins. The martial arts action was pretty much reduced to about a two minute scuffle between the two stars, right at the end of the movie, and it left me wanting... well, another martial arts movie.
Strictly as an action movie, Wolf Warrior does a decent job. It plays almost as an extended recruitment video for the Chinese Army, with much military chest puffery throughout.
Unfortunately for a movie that has "Breathtaking" on the front of its case, it left me with plenty of breath in the end. I give it a solid "meh".
