Solid Performance for a Reasonable Price

The Linksys - MR8300 Max Stream™ AC2200 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi Router was very simple to set up using the Linksys app on my iPhone. Only hiccup was getting on the router wifi for initial setup since the printed instructions did not include the fact that you needed to use the password on the router at first. Having set up many routers over the years, I quickly figured that out. But instructions should have made it clear for those less experienced.
I set mine up with an extender node to reach my garage. Not sure I needed the extender after all since the signal seemed the same with or without it. This router easily covers our entire, moderate-sized home and garage. If you haven't used MU-MIMO technology before, you will see a marked improvement in wifi performance and speed with multiple devices in use. Since my previous unit already had that tech, I didn't see a marked improvement in speed. But this single router matched the coverage of the 3-node (Dual-Band) unit it replaced. Overall, it is a solid, modern router with strong performance. Although not cheap, it is much less expensive than this tech was just 2 years ago.
My only disappointment is not with the router itself, but the fact that the Parental Controls will not filter out sites by category unless you have a subscription. However, searching on both the App and the Linksys help site produced no information on what 'subscription' was needed. In fact, no reference to subscriptions at all. On the other hand, the ability to pause internet on individual devices is nice.
If parental controls are important for your use, I recommend getting an answer to the 'subscription' issue. Otherwise, this is a solid product for a reasonable price

The Philips Norelco - 5000 series Trimmer is simply a solid, quality product for a reasonable price.
I've been using Phillips Norelco shavers for years and have found them consistently excellent. Although the trim function found on most of their shavers has worked fine for my beard, adding the 5000 series Trimmer to my arsenal was a noticeable improvement. It's powerful, cuts clean and true, and the battery holds it's charge for a long time.
I also 'buzz' my head and found that being able to do that with the attachment included with this unit was an unexpected plus. The easy-to-use adjustment wheel for varying the fine-tuned short cutting length was great.
A good solid product that I full recommend.

Set-up for the Rexing Dash Cam was simple, but did takes some time up-front familiarizing myself with the system. This is because the buttons, screen and functions are small. But that’s also what makes it so nice once it’s set up.
Once familiarized with the controls, I was able to take photos, short videos, turn the mic on or off, and set up time-lapse mode. This mode allowed me to view an entire 3-day road trip in a few minutes!
Note: contrary to an earlier version of this unit, it DOES come with the needed SSD card.
Great. Easy to Use. Full-Featured. Good Price.

Great Sound, Comfort, Size and Easy-to-Use!

The JBL - FREE True Wireless In-Ear Headphones Gen 2 clearly earn the name ‘Free’. These are the smallest wireless in-ear headphones I’ve yet tried.
‘Smallest’, however, isn’t the primary point. Are they good? Yes!
PROS
- The sound is high-quality with just the right amount of bass - strong but not overwhelming.
- Controlling small, wireless ear buds can be difficult and, sometimes, painful. These are simple, easy and painless. Excellent.
- Making calls and using my smart-assistant also worked well.
- The included case provides up to 20 hours of charging, has an attractive and useful form-factor and the earphones are easy to place in and take out.

- There are no ‘cons’ with what these offer.
- The only thing to consider is that, with the snug fit, you cannot hear much of what is going on around you and need to take them out for conversations. For a little more investment, you can find true wireless ear buds that include the ability to use the microphone to hear ambiant sound. They usually include noise cancellation features as well.

A Great Slow Cooker with a Killer Feature

The Calphalon - 5.3qt Digital Sauté Slow Cooker is great! First of all, it is an excellent, full-size slow cooker. But what sets it apart is the non-stick metal liner. It's significantly lighter than the normal liners which makes it very easy to pick up and handle. Also, my wife likes that the lid seals good and tight.
The main perk of the light, non-stick liner is that you can take it out of the slow-cooker, put it on your oven burner and cook and/or saute with it. The ability to saute vegetables in the liner and then take it all over to the slow-cooker and add the rest of the ingredients is a g-r-e-a-t feature.
Highly recommended.

Solid Choice for Full Features

The Sengled - Element Color Plus A19 Smart LED Light Bulbs offer a wide variety of possible settings including Brightness, hue, and Smart-Home controls.
This package comes with the hub required for working with 3rd-Party devices such as Amazon Alexa and Google Hub. Set up was simple and connection with my Alexa device was seamless. I did have to do a little adjusting after I moved the lights to new locations and gave them new names. But these are my first Smart-Home bulbs and that was just part of the learning curve for me.
The only reason I did not give this 5-stars is because it is a bit more costly than bulbs that work with Google Home without requiring an additional hub.
Otherwise, these are great, full-featured smart bulbs that work very well.

Excellent Affordable Smart Bulbs

The GE - C-Life A19 Bluetooth Smart LED Bulbs work well and are very affordable for entering into the world of the Smart Home.
The only reason I did not give a 5-star rating is because it came without adequate instructions. It clearly is designed for the Google Home units. Even when setting it up via the GE app, it wants to send you to Google Home to finish up. The advantage of this is that it works with Google devices without needing an additional hub.
It also works very well with the 'C by GE' app, although that's not as convenient as asking Google to control the lights. These will only work with Amazon Alexa if you add GE's own hub first. I only have Alexa at home and so used the app. Everything worked as advertised. Later, I moved the bulbs to my office so I could try them with my Google Home. This works great. I can not only group the bulbs and turn them on or off (together or individually), I can also have Google increase of decrease the brightness.
In Summary: If you understand the boundaries of these bulbs and are comfortable using the web to get instructions, they are a solid choice at a great price.

The HP - 2-in-1 14" Touch-Screen Chromebook - Intel Core i3 - 8GB Memory - 64GB eMMC Flash Memory - HP Finish In Ceramic White is an excellent computer.
Rather than going through all of the features (you can read the specs), I'll simply say that I see no cons with this unit. I am very impressed by every aspect of it.
If you're looking for a premium Chromebook at a good price, this is the one.

The Linksys - Velop Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System (3 Pack) appears to be an attempt by Linksys to provide a less expensive alternative to their excellent Tri-Band Velop system. Unfortunately, it falls short.
Set up required assistance from customer support. They were very helpful and saw me all the way through to getting the system up and functioning. My goal was to replace a single wireless router with the Velop mesh system so I could improve the signal to my garage man-cave. Having used the excellent Tri-Band Velop system in the past, I had high expectations for the less-expensive Dual-Band model.
Pros: Once set up, it extended the signal as expected
Cons: Set-up required guidance, Speed appears to have taken a slight hit, and the Signal seems to drop off intermittently.
At this point, although I'm getting the basic functionality I need, I'm not convinced that this is an improvement over my previous single Linksys router.

Good, But Not Competitive

The Plantronics - BackBeat GO 410 Wireless Noise Canceling Earbud Headphones offer exceptional clarity and simple operation. They fit very comfortably and were easy to pair and use. Battery life is also very good.
The noise canceling feature adds to the clarity of sound and the unique charging cable converts to a cord for wired listening when needed.
I gave it 4 stars because the physical build feels insubstantial - similar to much less expensive units. They, of course, don't offer noise cancelation, but it feels like the leap in cost for that feature is not justified. This is a solid product. I'm just not convinced that it's competitive.

If you still have to have Internet service what do I need this thing for I already have a router
If you're satisfied with your current wifi you don't need this. If your wifi is older tech and weak in spots, this system should give you a wifi signal that is stronger and speedier.
