A Solid Product for the Low-End Chromebook Niche

Reviewing the Acer - Chromebook Spin 311 – 11.6" 2-in-1 Touch Screen Laptop means recognizing the particular niche represented by this inexpensive, entry-level computer. This is designed for basic use. For grade school, home, or younger users in general.
It was easy to set up. Plugged it in to let it charge. Turned it on. Chose a language and country. Signed in to my Google account. Ready to go. Connecting to wifi - and a bluetooth speaker - were both smooth. It comes with basic start-up instructions. I would have liked a printed manual as well with more information. You can access more information online.
It has a lot of flexibility for the price - laptop, video viewing, tablet mode, touchscreen. Very handy. These features are not high quality, but they are definitely useable.
One unexpected surprise was the quality of the speakers. They were loud and clear.
The quality of the camera is acceptable, but can look grainy. And that leads to the weakest feature of this Chromebook - the screen. There is a large bezel, most likely in order to allow room for the comfortably-sized keyboard. But the main issue is that this is an HD screen, not a 4k. That should be adequate, but somehow it appears to lose resolution or sharp clarity when you expand a video into full-screen mode. This observation is probably intensified by the fact that my primary laptop has a high-resolutions screen.
As I mentioned above, this is an inexpensive, entry-level Chromebook. It’s not appropriate to compare it with more expensive laptops. It has a good set of features for a great price. If your expectations are adjusted accordingly, you should be pleased with what you get.
I have given it 4 stars and do recommend it as being worth seriously considering for those who have realistic expectations for this particular niche.

Great Features | Versatile | Excellent Mapping

Ecovacs DEEBOT T9+ VACUUM AND MOP ROBOT
The DEEBOT T9+ has a lot of interesting features and comes with very good instructions. After unwrapping all the packaging and downloaded the Ecovacs app, I charged the Deebot to full power - which did not take long because it was already partly charged.
First, I vacuumed a hard wood floor with a large area rug on the standard setting. I wondered if it might get stuck on low hanging curtains but it did not. It was good at navigating around furniture and obstacles. However, I did notice that it missed some dirt - but that may just need a stronger suction setting.
When finished, it automatically empties the dust bin, which is amazing! The only downside is that you can't really see how much dust it picked up because it is hidden in a collection bag. I am not sure if I will need to buy more dust bin bags. It comes with a couple, but I would not like needing to frequently be ordering more.
I ran the mopping function and was happy to see that it automatically avoided the carpet/area rug. I was mopping laminate flooring so I used the medium function and it gave a nice light wipe of the floor. Next time I will try a stronger scrub. I did notice that the machine says just to use water and no chemicals or floor cleaning solutions. I believe this is because the water container would get messed up, but that does mean you don't get as much of a sanitizing clean, but rather a basic water mop.
Then I decided to try a stronger suction power on the center area rug to get what it seemed to miss before. The first time it vacuumed it made a map on the app so I was able to draw lines indicating where I didn't want the vacuum to go and it worked great! I basically blocked out everything but the rug and charging station and it followed the path amazingly well. I ran it with the air freshener function on, along with a stronger vacuum setting, and it does a great job of spreading the scent. This is such an awesome feature. It did seem that there were a couple spots of dust missed again, but it may be that as time goes on and the sensor picks up and maps the room better, the vacuum will better know how to navigate the area and catch the missed spots.
It can be noisy on stronger settings, but it has lower and higher settings. I do like that I can adjust the alert volume for when the Deebot talks.
Overall, I am very excited to see what else this baby can do.

Full-Featured, Quality Product and Package

I like the sleek design as well as the overall quality feel. Having a zippered case to carry all of the attachments is a big help, and is also useful for storing.
The mini barber scissors was a nice added touch, and I found that the 5-detent taper control made it simple and easy for adjusting the trim. Well thought-out.
I buzz my hair and trim my beard regularly so I appreciate a solid product with a nice, precise cut - and this unit has just that.
The convenience of a rechargeable trimmer like this is something that should not be thought of as a luxury feature. No cord to get in the way and no batteries to fuss with. Super easy to use. I plugged it in to let the battery charge and used it the next day. ( I don't know that it needed that long but just didn't use it until the next day.)
I also appreciate that it has both the USB adapter and the usb cable as I have purchased items in the past that didn't come with the adapter, only the cord.
This is a full-featured, quality product and package.

Great Case for a Great Price

Great Case for a Great Price.
I like the feeling of protection for my iPhone without having a lot of bulk to the case. This is a good solution. It feels really good - smooth with just a slight bit of traction for a solid grip. I like the way it has a protective rim around the opening for the camera lenses so that it protects them when you place the phone down flat on a surface - something I tend to do all the time.
An added plus is the way it includes extra help for wireless charging via the specially engineered 'charging ring' built into the case. The phone charges wirelessly with the case on just fine and there's no extra bulk added by the 'charging ring'. These are both big plusses as far as I'm concerned.
On top of all that, I like the pleasing, subtle look of this color green. It adds a nice touch without being too flashy - which is just what I, personally, like.
When it comes to phone cases, the number of options available can be overwhelming. There are so many designs, color schemes, textures and form-factors to choose from. In the end, it's clearly a personal choice. But if you like quality build with a subtle tone and simple, thoughtful design, you cannot go wrong with this case.
It's a Great Case for a Great Price.

Just The Stand I've Been Looking For

The j5create - Multi-Angle 4K Docking Stand is just what I have been looking for! My primary set up for computing on a desk is to have a large monitor with my laptop on a left-side stand so that its screen matches the height of the monitor. This allows me to use both screens (the smaller laptop screen usually handles my todo lists, calendars, and Evernote). This basic arrangement has served me well for many years.
The main challenge has been finding the right stand for my laptop. I've used a variety of stands with mixed results. Usually, they lose their friction after a few months and my computer begins to slide. Sometimes I just stack books to the desired height, but that's not a real solution.
With the The j5create - Multi-Angle 4K Docking Stand, I think I've finally found the right stand. It is flexible, yet appropriately stiff. Solid, but not bulky. Looks great but not distracting. And the lip eliminates the slipping laptop (or tablet) concerns. As for the mini-dock, that's a bonus for me as I got this for the stand. But now that I have it, I definitely appreciate the matching look and features it adds.
The only caveat I would include is that I've not had it long enough to see if the hinges get week over time.
However, as it stands now (pun intended), I could not be happier.

Nice Package and Price, But Not Useful for Me

The Go Hearing - Go Prime OTC is definitely a simple hearing aid. It has really good accessories but the aid itself functions very basically. The magnetic chargeable travel case is wonderful. The fact that these don’t take a battery is also a plus. The extra filter replacements and included size adjusters for the ear piece are great. The aid does stick out of the ear a lot more than the photo on the box seems to show. I also think that they need a much better diagram to show how you should place the aid in the ear correctly. (There is a very basic one but it needs a lot more detail.)
I have hearing loss in both ears but only wear a right sided aid due to the severity of my left ear hearing loss. For this reason, I only tested with the right aid. It was easy to set up. There is a green sticker you have to take off of each aid before use and then put it in your ear and push the button for volume control and setting control. (You push the same button quickly for volume and hold it a couple seconds to change the modes.) One note about the instruction manual is that page 4 says “Quick Start Guide” and tells you how to set up but then it does’t tell you until page 11 that you should have charged the aids fully before the first use. I think they should have said that as the first thing on page 4.
When first putting them in the ear, I didn’t notice much change so I turned up the volume. A note about this is that you can only turn the volume up, not down. To make the volume go down you have to turn it all the way up until it double beeps and then the volume resets back at the lowest volume and you can adjust back up from there. That’s really inconvenient. I could definitely hear things get louder but it also made all the sounds have an echo. The sound quality is not good, everything has a robotic or tinny sound. There are three settings for the aid: Normal setting, high frequency mode and low frequency mode. I didn’t notice a huge difference between the first two but I found the low frequency mode to be the most comfortable (though still not great). My voice was echoey in all modes. I tried to see if there was a solution for this and changed out the tips to try fitting the aid in my ear better but nothing helped. The manual even said “ You may hear the internal workings of the device and your own voice may also sound quite loud and hollow. This is normal.” I think that’s definitely problematic. This is not an acceptable standard for hearing. My concern is that those who actually need this aid would be misguided by what an aid can and should do for the average user. The box says “noise and feedback management” but I don’t think it regulates sounds very well.
Final thoughts: I would not recommend these aids. The only possible use I could think of was maybe for occasional one-on-one conversation in a quiet room or perhaps to hear the tv louder while your friend keeps the volume at their own comfort level, but you would have to be okay with the distortions to the sound quality for that to even work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great and Highly Recommended

This is an amazing printer! It prints super fast and good quality. I’ve had a basic inkjet printer for a few years now but this one makes me feel like I’ve come out of the dark ages and seen the future. Set up was easy. I added paper, and ink. The ink comes in cartridges that you shake before putting into the printer. I then checked the print quality which came out fine. I then had to do a print alignment which was easy, the instructions tell you exactly what to do and I had no problem following them. I didn’t do the fax machine function because I don’t have a land-line. I then had to download an app, make an account and register the printer.
I had some problems setting up the wi-fi with the app so I did it manually through the printer itself but that was easy. Much easier than our other printer.
I printed a document that came out so fast, I was a little in shock. Then I scanned it and opened the app where it immediately transferred. I was then able to text it to someone else in less than a minute. Next, I printed an 8.5x11” photo and the colors and quality were great.
Overall, very happy with this printer and highly recommend.

Solid Standard Garbage Disposal Works and Works

The InSinkerator - Badger 5 Standard Series 1/2 HP Continuous Feed Garbage Disposal is a solid member of Badger's well-established line of garbage disposals. I've used many Badger disposals over the years and have found them to be solid, well-made, and reliable products.
It's a little hard to evaluate the relative strengths of a 1/2 vs 2/3 HP disposal. This is the standard 1/2 HP model and it confidently handles the full range of normal kitchen waste put through it. You do have to watch out for the odd item that can sometimes cause problems (such as a peach pit). But I've experienced that with the 2/3 HP model as well. Of course you also need to keep utensils out of it as well. Otherwise, it just works and works and works.
If you have not had one installed previously, then you will need to make sure you have power available. You'll also need to make sure you have the right plumbing in place as well. For me, installing it as a replacement for a much older unit was a relative breeze. The hardware, etc. was already in place so it just took some muscle, basic tools, and it was in in no time.
I like products that you can confidently rely on once they've been installed. This is one of them.

Excellent Product for Today's Households

The Gryphon - AX Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi Router is just what's needed for today's connected households.
I remember when WiFi routers were just a simple signal transmitter. Next they added some extremely basic filtering capabilities - if you could learn how to access the router via a webpage using an I.P. adresss. Then came more sophisticated versions with signal management features that included processors and dual frequencies. More recently, we've seen the continuing development of sophisticated signal processing integrated with smart apps that provide features that are truly useful and practical for today's households.
The Gryphon - AX Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi Router is an excellent example of a modern, state-of-the-art router. If you've never set up a smart router and used an app with it, you may find it an unfamiliar process. However, you'll find the set-up for this unit is simple and easy. Hook everything up, download the app, and follow the instructions.
The primary feature for a Wifi router is to send out a strong signal to a large area. This does that very well. Covered our whole household and the signal was strong and fast.
The secondary features are those found via the smart app. These features are where routers like the Gryphon - AX Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi Router really stand out. The level of control is amazing. You can set up different programs for different sets of devices that are connected. This includes those, such as smart TVs or streaming devices, that need priority access to the signal. It also allows you to determine what hours each device can access the internet, or not. You can also set up different levels of content filtering for specific sets of devices. This is essential for families today. It allows you to put boundaries and safeguards on any device your kids use. Most features are available for free. However, with an optional subscription, you can expand your level of control.
All-in-all, the Gryphon - AX Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi Router is an excellent, and essential, product for today's connected households.

Great Package for the Price

The Vantop - Snaptain SP7100S Drone is impressive. Especially considering the cost. It's clear that the price for quality drones has come down quite a bit. The drone comes with everything you need in a nice case. For someone, like myself, who does not have much experience with drones, it does take some time and focus to understand the instructions and get the parts to charge and sync with each other. Actually, I had trouble getting it to work no matter what I did at first. Finally emailed support and got a helpful clarification on the sequence of pairing that I was missing.
The tech - both software and mechanical - that goes into a product like this is very impressive for the uninitiated. However, once it's running and you begin to slowly experiment with its features, your confidence grows. As that happens, you find yourself beginning to imagine more and more scenarios where you'd love to experiment with it and see what you can see and film.
I only gave it 4 rather than 5 stars because of the difficulty I had with the initial set up. That may be just me. Otherwise, this seems like a great package for the price.

If you still have to have Internet service what do I need this thing for I already have a router
If you're satisfied with your current wifi you don't need this. If your wifi is older tech and weak in spots, this system should give you a wifi signal that is stronger and speedier.
