I researched this item quite a bit before making the purchase. Many of the site reviews rated them as the top WiFi security camera, so I went for it. I have not been disappointed. The ability to zoom in is nice and the night view and/or low light capabilities are great. If I had any complaint at all, it would be the range it can be from our WiFi router. We have a very powerful router that allows me to get 5 bars anywhere inside the house. This is at a far corner and if it was any further away, it probably would not connect. But it did connect (on my 2nd attempt) and has worked great since. No regrets and I hope to be able to purchase another one for the other corner of the house. Having a 25 foot plug was a plus.

This is an essential purchase to go with the new Surface Pro 3 in order to have the experience of a laptop. Without one, it's just a tablet and not nearly as flexible in use.
The size is both a negative and a positive. It makes for a very portable piece of hardware, but can be a little small for someone doing a lot of writing. For me, it strikes a perfect balance between the two. Small enough to make the Surface Pro 3 portable while maintaining the flexibility of using it both as a laptop or a tablet, and yet large enough to make typing e-mails (and reviews) a breeze.

Microsoft gets it right

Following the lukewarm reception of the Surface Pro and the Surface Pro 2, Microsoft gets it right the third time around.
I've always been interested in the Surface, but up until now have not owned one. There were too many complaints on the first two, but Microsoft listened and made some changes. In response to the customer feedback, the Surface Pro 3 has a larger screen and yet manages to present it in a thinner, lighter package. The keyboard is also a. big improvement. The amount of use per charge also makes me happy. Though not as good as an iPad, it is 2 to 4 times better than laptops I've had in the past.
The price is the only thing that gave me concern. Yes you could get a top of the line laptop for less. Yes, you could get a Mac Airbook for less. But can you get a Mac Airbook and an iPad for the same amount... No. For the best comparisons of price and functionality, the Surface Pro 3 should be compared to both a laptop and a tablet since that is what you are getting. The keyboard (which is nice for my needs) is an essential purchase. Otherwise you don't have the "laptop" functionality, only the tablet. It may be small for dedicated writers, but for my style of use and the portability, it's just right.
Bottom line, I am very happy with my purchase. I ended up getting the Surface Pro 3 with 256 GB and i5 processor. I'm looking forward to my first business trip with it as this will be all I need to take and will satisfy both my business and personal needs.
