Great streamer with some drawbacks

After I started having some software blips with my Roku and having recently switched back to iOS, I decided to try an Apple TV. Things that I like: works seamlessly with my phone and is really reliable, has great screensavers, turns on my TV and sets the right input automatically and controls the volume on my receiver. What would I change?: I would love Amazon Prime video, 4K support would be nice and AirPlay sending Spotify is really slow and clunky. Notably more so than Apple Music is. I guess that's the point though. If you have an Apple household, this is the way to go.

I recently switched back from Android to iOS. Got a great deal on this 256gb iPhone 7. It was the same price as the base model and I have way more memory than I'll probably ever need. Things that I like or maybe even love about the iPhone 7: great phone, Goldilocks size (just right), stability, fingerprint reader that reads and doesn't make me hold up the line when making mobile payments, beautiful construction and normal timely software updates. I realize that Apple normally doesn't have bleeding edge specs, but the phone just works for me. That being said, I am not a tweeker, a hobbyist, or a customizer. If that is your personality and you are willing deal with the reliability issues that occasionally pop up with that philosophy, there are some nice Android handsets out there like the Pixels and the Galaxy phones.

For me, this tablet is the best I have had. The responsiveness and screen quality are amazing. The amount of quality apps for iOS tablets are amazing. I would have just gone with the normal iPad but was able to get the Pro for only $110 more so I did it. The speakers and the TrueTone display were nice step ups. I have the Apple Pencil and it is ok, but I am still looking at a meaningful use case for me. The only downside I can detect is that the screen attracts fingerprints like nothing I have ever encountered and it is not easy to clean off. So, maybe that will become my use case for Apple Pencil. Recommend.

Based on the reviews here at Best Buy I decided to purchase this refurbished Samsung Galaxy S7 Verizon phone, knowing that Best Buy has a great return policy. As a lot of reviews will tell you, this is an awesome device with an amazing camera, respectable (though not as good as touted by some) battery life and the best screen in cell-phonedom. All purchased for about $250 less than retail and arriving in like new condition save for the box, which looks like it was dropped from a car driving on the freeway. Fortunately, the phone was in great condition and it came with an OEM fast charger. I love the headphone jack, the screen, the camera and Android in general. So happy with my choice,

I bought this tablet for my girlfriend who is kind of a tablet novice. She loves it for watching shows on Netflix and Amazon Prime. The screen is acceptably good, the sound is really good and the ability to add a micro SD card is nice. The widescreen ratio makes it nice in that you don't have the large black bars you normally get when watching movies on a 4:3 orientation tablet. For the price I have to say it is a great buy, Should you compare it to a $400 iPad Mini it is not as good. The display pales in comparison. That being said, the HD8 is 1/3 the price of the base Apple.

Great for a Bluetooth Speaker

I guess that I would say that this is great for a bluetooth speaker. The problem is, I have found that I am not a fan of the category in general. On the upside, once you get it playing, it sounds pretty decent for a monophonic speaker. Bass is not overdone and it is ok. On the downside, what I found was that every time I wanted to listen to it I had to go and turn it on (and wake it from sleep mode I guess) and that was not entirely convenient. As it is, if I want to wait, I can just go boot up my stereo and listen to much higher fidelity sound or I can just ask my Amazon Echo to play music or playlists from Pandora, Spotify or Amazon Prime Music and it does it with similar results in sound quality, I guess that leaves portability as the advantage of this Bose speaker and it is good for lugging around. I appreciate how they added a standard micro-usb for the charging cable from the old proprietary one and the new black finish is not bad. If portability is your top priority, and you are ok with the sound limitations of bluetooth, give this a shot. If portability is not a must have, buy some decent powered stereo speakers and a Chromecast Audio and enjoy better sound.

Awesome Sonos Substitute

I have run a lot of music streaming solutions from the Logitech Squeezebox Duet to the Sonos Connect to the Apple Airport Express to the Roku 3 to the Amazon Fire TV, but this Chromecast Audio is my favorite. Mine is connected from my Arcam irDAC via a tosink mini to toslink cable to my Rogue Audio Sphinx Integrated Amplifier and the performance is great. There is no latency (can you hear me AirPlay?) and the sound quality is nice when you choose the high resolution setting. I appreciate that it uses Spotify Connect vs a proprietary/clumsy interface that Sonos and Roku gives you. That means that you get to use the native app on your phone or tablet to control things. Also, this allows me to listen to music without the TV being on which is convenient. I utilize Spotify, Pandora, TuneIn Radio and iHeart Radio and they just turned on the multi room support which I have not had the opportunity to test. If that works as advertised why would you spend 10 times the price for a Sonos Connect ($350 vs $35)? Stay tuned on that one. Highly recommended.

Not to be a shill, but the few times I have tried generic cartridges with HP Printer, the ink has ran everywhere. So, if you are going to operate an HP printer you can't go wrong with these. Just try to get them when they run sales.

I picked these speakers up on clearance at my local BB. Recently, I installed them under the eaves on my roof adjacent to my deck. I use a compact Chinese amplifier that I picked up online with a RCA to minijack cable to connect to my iPad or phone. I stream Pandora and Spotify with this and the sound is pretty decent. Of course they were about 1/2 what you pay for the Yamaha or Polk versions. Either way, for moderate volume listening I was impressed. If you really crank your music you might want to upgrade to a larger speaker.

Want to hook up magic jack plus to a non PC device that hooks to the router via wifi
I do not believe so. What you would probably want to do if I understand your goal (VoIP phone based away from router) is to buy an Ooma VoIP phone system and hook up to your router and then connect a wireless multiphone system to that. Then you can place the auxilliary handsets in more convenient locations away from your router. My Ooma bill is $4 and change (taxes) every month, so not a bad deal at all.
