Thanks Samsung for the Recall

Two years ago we bought a similar Samsung washer that was part of the recall. We had the option to have it repaired or get a check for a replacement. Not being an expert on washers we took the check for $340 towards the purchase of a new Samsung washer (it was about $100 less if you bought another manufacturers washing machine). Long story short I have a new washer that looks almost identical to my old one, works about the same and cost my a few hundred out of my pocket. My clothes are clean at least (or no one has bothered to tell me otherwise...)

Very good, inexpensive Win 10 laptop

For the money ~$250.00, this is a great laptop. I bought this as a gift and used it a bit myself. I typically use a top of the line Mac Book Pro at about 10x the price but to be honest this simple laptop will be able to do much of what most people need. What you are not getting 1) a high-end screen - actually this is a low-end screen, but not horribly so 2) slow hard-drive 3) a pretty case. For general web surfing, office apps etc.., this laptop is fine. If you sink another $50-$100 into it and upgrade to a SSD it will probably be borderline good (especially for the price).
