There is nothing wrong with this machine and lots that is right. It cleans like a fanatic and is easy to load. The controls are clearly marked so it is not really necessary to read the manual. I especially like the remaining time feature that you read when the machine is running. And it is absolutely the quietest dishwasher I've ever had.

Save time and money by installing your dishwasher yourself with this complete, high-quality kit. This kit is required if you have your dishwasher professionally installed.

Glad my sales rep suggested getting this kit. I thought I would not need it, but there is one tiny elbow fitting in it that was needed. I suggest getting it if in doubt because you can take it back unused, if that actually becomes the case. Installation would have been thoroughly screwed up if I had not taken it.

Door locking mechanism
Was the locking mechanism on the door fixed or not, I"m preparing to buy a dishwasher and unless I get a Yes or a No not an "upgrade" answer I will buy an LG despite the fact at it won't match my chef collection range. I have read numerous complaints about the locking mechanism and I am not prepared to deal with another kitchen leak if the door lock on the unit fails.
Was it fixed and WHAT was is it replaced with. Thanks!

Installation costs extra. It includes haul away of your old machine if you want it. The installer was very fast, did a good job, and left no traces that he had been there. Took an hour.

There is no issue with the door. It opens and closes easy enough, and there is no leaking.
