Definitly worth it if you run and swim!

I had an original Apple Watch since last march, but the only gripes I had with it was that it had no GPS and was not "water proof" (even though I swam with it anyway, with no ill effects). I really like the looks of this black with "volt" (green) color Nike + version and have actually gotten a few comments from others how much they liked how it look. The Nike+ extra features are nice and the NRC app is fun for tracking runs, but not an absolute necessary. The GPS and swim tracking seems to work very reasonable for my needs. I am not some super-duper elite runner trying to win the Olympics, but I am still fairly competitive, especially for a 47 year old (I can run sub-20 minute 5Ks, and have actually placed in many races, either overall or at least in my age category, so I am no slouch when it comes to running). I do love the swim tracking and works quite well for both open water and pool swims. Just in the three weeks or so I've had this new Apple Watch, I've swam many thousands of meters and already put in over 30 miles of running and it did a good job tracking it. I do wish the built in activity tracker would show milage with the plotted route, though. Granted, there may be features missing from dedicated running watches such as the higher end models from Garmin, but I cannot beat the overall versatility of this Apple Watch, plus I much prefer the looks of this watch over many of the dedicated sports watches. I would not be surprised if some of these running/fitness tracking apps will add many of the features that the "dedicated" sports watches have. Also, would love a way to track triathlons with this thing. Also wished it had a barometer/altitude sensor on board as well, especially during the winter when I start tracking my skiing (I am a semi-professional skier). If you don't need all the GPS and swim tracking features that comes with this Series 2 Apple Watch, you can save a good $100 and still get the Series 1. Also, if you already have an original Apple Watch and don't need these new features, just upgrade the thing to the newest watchOS 3.1 and you will have pretty much everything the current generation of watches do. However, if you do want the additional sports tracking, this new watch is a worthy upgrade.

Does what it's advertised to to

What can I say? This hard drive does exactly as it advertised. I am using it as an adjunct to a WD MyCloud NAS/personal cloud device and fits perfectly. I have no way to objectively measure the performance of the device but seems to be working fast enough for my needs. I have used WD products in the past and I've always had good luck with their reliability, but time will tell how reliable this unit will be. If anybody needs a decent sized external drive, this will fit the bill and is also reasonably priced for what you get.

Excellent headphones for working out and running

After taking up running, I needed a decent pair of wireless headphones. After much research I've settled on the Plantronics Backbeat FITs. There are cheaper and certainly more expensive alternatives, but for what I needed these for, they served my purpose perfectly. They connected with no problem to both my iPhone and my Apple Watch. I use these for both listening to music as well as getting audio cues from the RunKeeper app that I use to track my workouts. First, I find them to be plenty comfortable, even to the point where I sometimes forget I had them on. I've seen some people mention the headband can be annoying on runs with it bouncing around on the back of their necks. However, being a male with very thick, long hair, I've never had problem with that issue. If anything, sometimes the stupid things get caught in my hair while trying to take them off, but has been the case with just about any pair of headphones out there. Also, I really like the open nature of the design. It still allows me to hear what is going around me as well as still able to listen to my music. That is especially important if I am running along a road or while participating in a race. And lastly, I am quite impressed with the sound quality of these things. Granted, we are not talking about audiophile levels of sound quality here, but then again, this is a $130 pair of FITNESS headphones, not a $500+ pair of high-end audiophile cans such as my B&W P7s. The bass could be a little better, but overall, the highs and mid-range comes out very clear. What bass is there is pretty tight and well defined. Yes, there are probably better sounding and more expensive fitness headphones out there. In fact, I have a pair of Jaybird X2s, of which I've been hearing very good things about, that I just recently received that I am going to try out very soon (which cost nearly $180). So I will be curious how they compare to the Plantronics Backbeat FITs. Also, the included armband/carrying case is very handy. Overall, I really do like these headphones and have become my daily drivers for workouts and running.

Can I use Pandora with these?

Yes, if your device will stream Pandora over a bluetooth connection. I know for a fact my iPhone will work, as I have listened to Pandora as well as Tunein Radio through the Backbeat FITs on runs on my iPhone 5s.
