This was bought to patrol an approximately 1300 square foot open floor plan home with luxury vinyl tile flooring. Rugs in the living room and library, my wife's office and the entry. The Braava just works, but you have to understand it first.
Mentally divide the flooring area into sections. Set the charged unit up with as few obstacles as possible (put chairs up, pick up larger debris, clear the floor). Turn on the north star cube, which provides a GPS like coordinate mapping for the Braava. And just leave it be. Mopping is in a y pattern that does quite a thorough job. Sweeping is in a zigzag pattern.
So yes, the Braava makes you think out your mopping zones. But the cleaning is inarguably thorough. The amount of stuff this thing picks up is amazing. Floors feel great under bare feet despite the best efforts of two crazy dogs bringing in dirt and leaving dog hair in their wake. Pads are washable and reusable. Swiffer consumables work fine too.
This little guy earns his keep. A great purchase.

While I love the display, the features and tracking have steadily improved. Was not pleased initially but the updates provided by Samsung have addressed many issues. Still tricky to track mixed workouts and floor count gets squirrelly at times. Still it's at the top of the class and the SHealth app is pretty useful.
