FYI, the clear plastic piece that some are saying is in the way for a second controller can be removed. It's being held on by 2 screws. Unscrew it and remove. Done! Now you can use 2 of these.

The plastic clip on the plug that blocks controller port two appears to be attached with a couple of phillips head screws. Can the plastic clip be unscrewed and removed to permit two extension cables to be plugged into the system?

Yes. Just unscrew them, remove the piece and screw the 2 screws back down. Now you can use 2 of here.
