Not a bad office printer but not Laser quality

I purchased this machine for my office and it is a pretty decent printer with good scanning/copying and fax capabilities. The only reason why I did not give it five stars is because it is advertised as being "better than laser". It certainly is not better and not even close to equal. It is an inkjet. Runs, prints and everything else like an inkjet. Speed is ok at best and print quality is good for an inkjet, but, nowhere near laser. If you are looking for a good inkjet with good copy/fax functionality than you will be very pleased with this printer... If you are looking for a laser then keep looking because this is definitely not laser speed or quality.

Excellent Value with Great Performance

I purchased this PC after my last Dell was getting a little long in the tooth. In a nutshell, this PC is an excellent value. It has done everything I needed flawlessly with tremendous speed... I use a PC for a lot of different things form Photoshop and Dreamweaver to audio sampling and video editing... Everything that was under the hood was adequate for what I needed. I am very pleased with it so far. I usually only buy Dell and this one definitely reminded me why. Just a good solid machine that works very well... Certainly worth the price.

can resolution dpi of 4800x2400 be changed to dpi 2400x1200 so that we use less ink?
Yup, there are settings to adjust the print quality/ink consumption...

Does this printer offer draft printing option? Can we set default dpi resolution to 2400x1200 so that we use less ink?
Yup, there are settings to lower the ink consumption...

Will all Epson printers work with Windows XP
Not sure about ALL Epson printers as there are thousands... However, any new model, including all the Workforce Series printers will work with XP fine... There are drivers available for XP online and on the installation disk...

What will I need
What will i need if i want to buy this for gaming? Would i just have to plug in my HDMI into the monitor then I will be good to go?
Just plug it in... Will work fine... Important to not that there is no sound from the monitor though, so you will have to use the audio output and some powered speakers. The hdmi cable will not help you as there is no speakers in the monitor.
