Have enjoyed the Final Fantasy series through many years, on many versions of the Playstation. With the purchase of a new PS4, I sought out this release. Suck at Blitzball, but can hold my own on almost all the other games within the game. Graphics are spectacular. Gameplay is very smooth. Save and load times are quick. For someone that has never played either game, or just wants to do it all over again, this package is worth it.

EA Sports got my money for the NHL series each and every year for a very long time. Quality and content dropped off enough that a took a break for three years/seasons. New PS4, so new NHL 16. So far I am impressed with the game. Lots of ways to play. Even a play with minimal skills, like myself, can have a great time scoring goals and delivering body checks. Be a Pro really rocks my boat.

I am NOT a serious gamer so spending serious dollars on the newest console was not an easy decision. Have enjoyed the Playstation series of hardware and games for many years. Mostly sports, racing and the Final Fantasy RPG's. Price drop got me to upgrade. Enjoying NHL 16 and keeping fingers crossed for Gran Turismo. Also really hoping the nice driving rig I have will be compatible with the PS4. Minor rant: Sure wish Sony built in PS3 game compatibility on the PS4. Seems unfair to have to start all over again with every generation of consoles.
So far, the PS4 has run flawlessly. Very quiet. Boots up fast. Controller is fine. Video quality is top notch. Done very little with available apps since I have similar functionality on many other devices including my Sony TV.

A Worthy Upgrade at Reduced Price

Been a fan of Gran Turismo for many years. Really enjoy the variety of cars and tracks. Not a serious racer myself but I do have a quality wheel and pedal set. GT6 is a very nice albeit small, step up from GT5. Pity you have to start all over again, but that's been the history of this series. Menus and navigation is much improved. Load times seem a bit faster to me. Tweaking and tuning seems to have more affect. Again, I am a casual racer so I cannot speak to the super detailed stuff that's in the game. For me it's just FUN!! , especially when doing some 2 player racing.
Put off buying GT6 until it had a couple significant price drops. Good value now. Only big negative was hours of software updates when I first installed it on my PS3. Be nice if they could re-package it with all the current updates.

A great 'historic' collection

Was inspired to pick up this collection after seeing the most recent one in the theaters. Probably had the original Planet of the Apes movie on VHS (yes, I am that ancient), but it's long gone. Am giving a 4 star rating for the collection in it's entirety. For myself, only 3 of the five movies are worthy of 4 or 5 stars. But hey, for the price, I sure cannot complain. Great way to catch up / fill in on the entire arc of the Planet of the Apes franchise.
