Full powered, easy to use

This mid-sized LG replaced our large Panasonic, which gave up the ghost after 12 years. So far the size is fine for us, and everything works well. I miss a couple of the Panasonic features, especially the sensor reheat, but there are compensating features like the LG's ability to program two cooking stages at different power levels. I rated it 4 instead of 5 only because I am still getting used to it.

Stay in touch with friends and family with this Panasonic KX-TGF382M expandable phone system, which comes with a corded base station with a digital answering system and 2 cordless handsets. Talking caller ID provides audible caller information.

Duplex Speakerphone Was My Key

We talk to our kids frequently, and always use the speakerphone. Most consumer phones only allow one party to speak at a time, which results in frequent missed words and confusion. With duplex, the conversation is much more normal, which is why it is common in business telephones.
VTech promotes this feature for consumers, but Panasonic does not. When I found it almost by accident, I went with Panasonic because they are so often the top rated units.
So far so good. The duplex speakerphones on both the corded unit and wireless handsets work perfectly, and we love a lot of the other features also, especially call blocking and the intercom.
My only negative so far is the lack of a backlight on the display when the phone is not in use, but that's not much of an annoyance.
I definitely would buy again.

I brought this home before reading the reviews. It's still in the box. Almost all of the reviews (positive and negative) complain about the visibility of the control panel. What can I do to alleviate that problem? Need to know before I open the box. Thx.

Panasonic KX-TGF382 dect-6-0-expandable-cordless-phone-system Absolutely. We have already done so, and there is no problem picking up the call from a different room once another phone is in use.
