Needed a surveillance camera to keep an eye on my mom when I wasn't there !
Voila !...Along comes this camera !
Pan and tilt covers Lots'O real estate !
Needed surveillance sometimes... for long periods of time,....something that wouldn't tax my CPU !
This fit the bill FOR ME !
I can keep a watchful eye without being intrusive, yet make sure she's safe,...as she suffers from dementia !
For the $$,...this met my needs perfectly !!!

Just bought this product today and loved it, my question is. Is any D-Link camera compatible with this 5030L? Do we have to use the same model camera for add on camera's? I would like more then one camera add on to the app for more secure surveillance.
You can add as many model number cameras as you'd like !

Can multiple users access this camera simultaneously from remote sites?
Yes !
I've been able to access this camera from 3 different computers and or tablets...@ the same time!

Can I insert this device like new ip camera in my dlink view program ?
For a list of cameras Dlink accepts, you should go to their web site, or even better...you can Call their Tech Support !!

If I lose power will this camera automatically re-connect to the router when power is restored?
I've pulled the power cord out and it did come back on when I plugged it back in,...ready to connect,...but I needed to login In to get it connected AGAIN !!
