I purchased these earbuds specifically to be able to control an iPod Nano 7th gen. I have it in a case and can't feel the buttons on the side so I always end up doing something stupid instead of what I'm trying to do while it's on my waist at the gym. They work great. I've been listening to a pair of Sennheiser earbuds that cost about $80 for 8 years. They are the best sounding earbuds (to me) that I've ever heard. Even after going through the washing machine. The R6i sounds good but different. The high end seems attenuated leaving the sound to me a little more mid heavy which I don't prefer.

I'm a Mac user of almost 30 years so yes, I'm biased.
That being said when the iPad hit and tablets became the rage I complained. To me 10" is too small of a screen to do real work. And as much as I enjoy iPads, I'm not dropping $500+ on something that is limited. All I wanted was a 12" tablet with a real processor and enough memory to do work.
Then the Surface came along and I almost gave up hope. But then I found the Acer W7! It's a little thick but I've purchased one with an i3 and one with an i5 and can tell you it's a very worthy tool. I was content.
Until Microsoft came out with the Surface 3. It's borderline perfect. The touch screen feels better than the W7. Really overall it just has a great solid feel to it. It's fast. The screen is a great size. We've already bought 2 to replace iPads and will probably do another shortly.
In business we need to have a file structure where we can easily store and access things. Someday Apple will follow (that saddens me to say) the Surface 3 with a Mac tablet. I hope...
