Best tablet for the money hands down.

I purchased this to replace my trusted surface pro 3 which I dropped from a height of 4" which cracked the screen only to find out it costs $400 to repair. I figured that since 99% of what I did with the surface could be done with an android tablet, I would purchase an android tablet.
In searching for the right tablet, there where several options. I prefer the Samsung tablets and as far as they go there are 4 options in the 10" category. There is the tab A and tab S2 both with last year's and this year's models. Last year, the Tab A was the budget version of the S2 with a less powerfully chip and lower resolution. This year's Tab A (the 10.1), has the same chip as the s2 with the same resolution as last year's s2.
The speed on this tablet is perfect and I can honestly say, I can't imagine needing anything more for the types of things I use my tablet for (email, surfing, playing games). That's quite a bit comming fom someone used to a surface pro 3. Oh, another thing is that I use this tablet all the time and only have to charge it every 3 or 4 days.

Not only is this for anyone who has a hard time affording an expensive tablet, it is just a great all around great buy. I bought it because Prime allows you to download movies onto the device so that you could watch them on a plane or anywhere you don't have wifi.

Able to print to any printer? My older galaxy will only print to Samsung printers.
Yes and no. The quick answer would be no, especially if you were simply talking about printing without any extra apps loaded (such as with ipads and airprint). You can however load apps for brands of printers that help with printing but not all printers are compatible. Also, in many cases, the apps don't work perfectly. In my case, I have a Canon laser printer and when I want to print to it I am supposed to be able to go to the share button and print to the app. Unfortunately, that never works. I always end up saving whatever I am trying to print to a pdf and then load the pdf from the file manager with the print app.
