I needed a USB hub to connect USB devices to a Microsoft Surface for a work project since it only has one USB port. This one was in the right price range, and provides USB power (power adapter included). The only down side is that it's not as sturdy/solid as I would like it to be. Other than that, it worked well for the project I needed it for and will pair well with the Surface.

I recently purchased a NAS by Synology, the DS415+. I researched HDD drives and found the Red series by Western Digital to be exactly what I needed: fast read/write speeds, reliable, and good value. I saw the same drives on another website at a lower cost. However, BestBuy offered me a price match, and I also opted to have them ship my drives to the local store so I wouldn't have to wait for shipping. Quick and painless; good deal!

I was in the market for a new router so I wouldn't have to pay my Internet service provider the $6/month rental fee, as well as utilize the Docsis 3.0 technology for upgraded Internet speeds. I compared this one with the others on their compatibility list and found this to be exactly what I needed. I am using it as a passthrough, but it seems like if I was to use it as my main router that it has some great functions (Wi-Fi, firewall, advanced features). It has been fast and reliable since I installed it, not crashing to date. Good deal!
