battery "reserve" power

The battery I purchased works well as a back up power system. It doesn't last as long as the regular Nikon Battery. In the future I think I would just purchase a Nikon Brand Battery even though they are more expensive. Then I would not have to be concerned that much about the battery running low before its time. You get what you pay for.

I purchased the lens cap holder as a convenient way to manage my cap when it was off. On my 2nd outing the "double stick tape" let loose. Luckily I was able to catch the cap and recover it. I ended up reattaching the holder with some super glue. We'll see how that works. The strap could be a little longer to be more useful.
