This is a great piece of hardware. The cost is similar to what you would pay if you were building a machine with all of the same pieces, yet you don't need the technical know-how to actually build it, and don't have to worry about parts being DOA. This PC offers off-the-shelf performance and ease of setup enough that you can play games as quickly as you can load them. I highly recommend this product.

Had to buy a new one because the first one was eaten by the couch (or the toddler put it somewhere useful). Setup was super easy and it works like a charm. It's super light weight, so even a small velcro tab can hold it out of reach from a toddler.

The current generation AppleTV has great performance, and delivers streaming media with an easy set-up and an easy to understand interface - While it doesn't have onboard hard drive space to store purchased media, I found that I don't care, because streaming around the house is effortless

What's great about it: This little thing DOES the job as advertised.
What's not so great: HDMI only meant I had to re-arrange to connect it to an older tv w/ only 1 HDMI port

My Sony audio surround sound receiver has only one optical audio input, used by my Samsung 4K TV. This player also uses optical audio only. How can I get both to play through the audio receiver with only one optical audio input?
Generally, if the TV has an optical audio in also, you could feed everything through that, otherwise the HDMI from player to TV will carry the audio, and the TV can then feed the audio to the receiver. More information about what else is plugged into what could assist in a more detailed answer.
